Offcourse its not going to be as good as Karcher or Bosch but I wanted to give it a try. I have never used glass vac but I have read some good review of Karcher. I will be happy if this product is even 50% good as what Karcher reviews says for the price.

Is this a window vacuum, as opposed to a window steam cleaner? This item is just as effective as a glass scraper with a rubber blade. Pros on the street washing shopfront windows would laugh at this…

    • Even the amateur window washers are laughing at this.

  • Bought the $10 window cleaner @Woolies neatly 3 years ago. Works well, but rarely used. It's another unnecessary gadget.

Got mine today, have had a bit of a play. Seems to work well, the windows I started with some internal glass doors, and they've come out great.

Then did some outdoor windows, that were pretty filthy to begin with. They have turned out pretty good, but could probably use a second wash. The included white spray bottle/cloth cleaner combo thing was pretty dirty, so I'm pretty sure I was just smearing filthy water around by the end of it. Still came out good, but can see streaks and stuff - particularly around the edges. Again, windows were filthy, and a second pass would probably sort these issues out.

The water tank is quite small, but very easy to empty - can get through quite a few windows before needing to empty it, so don't think it's a major issue for me.

Only thing it could really use is a battery meter of some sort. It flashes when it gets to low battery apparently, so I guess that's not too bad.

    Overall, for 40 bucks - it's a winner.

EDIT: The Kogan website says it has a battery indicator - maybe the blue LED ring changes.. I didn't notice and i've charged it up again now. Will keep an eye on it.
