[Refurbished] Apple iPad Pro (9.7 Inch) 32GB Cellular for $399 + Shipping (Free with Kogan First, Grey Import) @ Kogan

110

Hi All! Just received this in my inbox from Kogan. Seems pretty good price for an Ipad pro, even just with refurbished condition.

Has anyone got experience with Kogan refurbished product? Are they of good quality? It says "A grade" on their website and given it is Apple product I expect a good quality inspection from them before issuing it out as refurbished Apple.

My first post as well! Please be nice :)

yeah i was looking at this on kogan yesterday but considering you can get a new 8th gen ipad for ~$430 with gift cards it just seems to be overpriced

      • You’re assuming you can actually find an 8th gen iPad in Australia at the moment that can be purchased with discounted gift cards…

Im more assuming that everyone can wait, which is my current situation. Obviously thats an incorrect assumption to be fair.

      • How does this work with giftcards?

    Kogan Refurbished != Apple Refurbished

    • Apples have always been emotionally unavailable

  • They (Dick Smith) never shipped when i tried to order a Surface Book Refurbished.. almost a month or so later, they gave out a 20$ coupon and allowed a cancellation..

      and allowed a cancellation..

      That was nice of them…

  • Apparently they are bad at warranties.
Also its a refurb apple ipad not refurbed by apple

    • No. It is a Used ipad. And a very old one.

      • Pretty true, but not super old. It's still better than many non-Apple pencil support iPads around.

        • Still a very useful device. But $400 !?

        • i'm noticing a lot of lag in mine now.

even if it is brand new, i don't see the reason why buying 2016 ipad pro vs 2020 basic ipad? maybe a bit more RAM if that's what you after, but smaller screen and slower CPU kills it imo.

    • Non laminated screen in the basic models? Other than that not much

Ipad pro 9.7 is still good enough (I’m using one), BUT this is a refurbished by Kogan so just stay away.

  • so naive of me to post this at first thought… obviously I'm not experienced enough with Kogan. Just bought their handheld vacuum with 3 yrs extended warranty on the weekend hope I will not regret this :(

    • My variant of the kogan branded handheld (which was given to me as a gift) was terrible. Ended up getting a Bosch Blue vacuum with a battery - like cheese and chalk. Couldn't do anything with the Kogan one - think it's in the shed!

      • shietttt do you know what model is that one? Did you receive it long time ago or recently?

  • Got a refurbished one from Apple to replace a new one under warranty last just over 6 months. Avoid

  • they certainly retain their value. I bought a 128GB Wifi brand new in 2016 for $600.
