Welcome to the world of music gear.
It stays the same or goes up 95% of the time.
I can say this is perfect, because I have a pair of krk 5 that I've been trying to get rid off.
Seems to be $268 from Amazon AU (shipped from US):
https://www.amazon.com.au/KRK-Classic-Studio-Monitor-CL5G3-N…I think that's for one
Oh my bad.
Yes, seems studio monitors generally sell individually.
Bit of a silly trend, who actually just buys 1 speaker anyway? No one.
Found that out the hard way a few years ago haha
I've been looking at monitors to pair with turntables. These were the least suggested when I asked around, but I suppose it depends what you need them for and budget. I'd probably recommend going in to store and listening to them before commiting to buy.
Highly recommend anyone looking to get these go for the JBL LSR305 instead
Was thinking the exact same thing, was hoping someone would do a sale on the jbl 305 soon.
DJ city has the pair for $469 atm
Thanks, but pretty meh price, hoping to get it for < $400 since its sold on here a few Months ago for $359

Are the 5 G4's supposed to be better?
depends what you are using them for, but in short - yes.
KRK changed the name to Classic 5 but these are identical to the KRK Rokit RP5G3.
According to KRK Official they slightly adjusted tuning to make the Classic 5 model more neutral sounding:
“With the optional +2dB KRK Bass Boost, the CLASSIC 5 holds true to the sound that music creators around the world have loved for years.”.
So with optional +2dB Boost on, and they sound the same as the Rokit RP5G3’s.The Rokit RP5G3 has been as cheap as $314.90 Delivered.
