How is it compared to GLobal?

    • This one seems to be forged, but Global isnt.

      • So it is a No go right?

        • No idea. Not an expert.

We've got a cheap set of Baccarat at home.

He located the elite material manufacturers from Germany, Sweden, Japan, and the USA, but could not find the right one even after auditing 80+ bladesmiths.
After countless efforts, and many factory visits Henry finally found a knife manufacturer located in Yangjiang China, where cutlery has been a tradition for over 1500 years.

In short, he found a factory that made knife for peanuts price in China.

    14C28N and 59hrc. Not bad.

Not enough better than $39 titan•Forge range to warrant the price imo.

    • titan forge looks very sexy… but if only it was unibody. Gunk and bacteria like to build up in the tiny gap where the grips meet the metal.

      • Nope, its NSF certified. Been tested to make sure that cant happen. :)

I mean, if the handle fails sure; but it meets all requirements for being able to be 'sterilized' in a commercial kitchen.

        • haha commercial kitchens probably have a lot better cleaning than my kitchen

          • @xrailgun: You've never had an entry level job washin dishes have ya :p they reeeeeealy dont. Lol.

Nsf certified knives mean the materials arent porous, and any joins are 'sealed' to not allow moisture, let alone food.

I have no stake in the brand, just lettin ya know that if thats your only reason not to get them; dont stress :)

Personally i use messermeister; but once again, no value compared to TF while its on sale.
