Wish they would stop making these sort of discounts exclusive to Zip/Latitude/etc :(
Just can't bring myself to sign up to a credit service to save a little extra on a purchase but gives me real bargain FOMO.

    • You probably don't need to worry too much if you are not going to buy a house within 3 months. Just close them all off 6 months before you intend to buy a house, if they question why just tell them there was lot of good deal and that prove you're good with money and feel free to show them the proof :)

      • if afterpay the same?

        • Yeah but the difference is, Zip is an "account" so you need to give them separate statements, whereas Afterpay is just a payment that comes out, so they will see it on your CC. We didn't disclose our Afterpay account, but the bank specifically saw the Zip transactions in our savings account and asked for a copy of the Zip statement.

I have signed up for Zip but only with $1000 max credit. I haven't seen anything show up on my credit report. Just FYI.

  • They wont approve me. Not sure why.

  • If I want to buy a hisense tv 1000+ from AO, do I need to sign up for zip money?

Will I be approved within today?

What extra fees am I looking at, they aren't very clear on their site. Are there any monthly fees if no balance?

    • I ordered a dryer from them yesterday, paid with Zip.
The due date on my Zip Account says 30-Dec, I believe no fees charged as long as I pay in full before the due date.

    • Did the transaction go through for being over $1000?

      • I was approved for both but didnt use either

Actually decided not to buy my new washer through AO because of this "deal"

  • Anybody know how Zip pay works if the item is > $1000? I try to select the option to pay the difference, but it just declines the transaction. shrugs

    • You need a Zip money account I believe

    • Zip money reqd. Est fee of 25

        Ok thanks. Stuff that

  • Anyone knows if this works with a referral link? I need to sign up for zip to buy something with AO, but when clicking on the random referral code, it seems to go straight to zip.co so not sure if there's any referrer being tracked
