Gigabyte Z490M Gaming X Intel LGA1200 Motherboard $199 + Shipping (RRP $319) @ Shopping Express

81

Just noticed this is cheaper than most. Shipping shows as $13.50 for me.

RRP says $319 but most retailers have it for $250. Regardless, you save a bit.
Not sure how this compares to other Z490s.

Still debating whether I should pull the trigger or wait for tomorrow.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

Great motherboard, nice inbuilt io shield and plenty of ports.

Currently paired with a i7-10700k, 2080 super and Cooler Master aio cpu cooler runs cool and no problems

Good to know mate. Planning to match this with a i9- 10850k.

  • $183.20 delivered if you have eBay Plus with PLUSBF20: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363003631581

futu's done some really scumming price jacking… its now $196… the ASUS ROG mATX i was looking at has gone up twice over the past 2 days…

      • +1

Ooh yes scums. Original price was 235 but dropped to 229 midday yesterday and jacked up to 245 at 1030 this morning.

  • Only has one m.2 slot. Was going to pick this up but it's a deal breaker for me.

    • im not sure what it is but there appears to be a second port under the top m.2 not sure its usage though

      • +1

From.what I could read in the specs it's states only one m.2 slot so not sure what that thing is. For me best not to take a chance, I just went with b460m mortar.

        • +1

second m2 slot is reserved for future use, the current theory is that 11th gen cpu's will turn this slot into a PCI-e 4.0 capable slot for storage
