I'm not the best computer guy, isn't 4 core with 8 threads pretty good? Then again idk what 14nm refers to, I should look that up.
Edit: oh interesting, so the 14nm means it's less dense, mland roughly 20% more power hungry for the same performance than the smaller sizes, which have been available for a couple of years.
Yes, the better chips these days are AMD chips, with 6 and 8 cores, on smaller more efficient process. Even the new intel chips on intel 10nm are not that great and they still have only 4 cores. Don't believe the intel FUD marketing, AMD 4000 laptop chips are significantly better.
