    Agree,3D is a waste of money anyway.Seriously how often do you actually use it.
    Standard plasma's are so cheap now.

      More than once per week i use 3d, there is actually 3D content coming out now

  I am not that impressed with 3D but its nice to have anyway. Some games make good use of it. In movies I find it makes the picture quality poorer and is not that effective anyway.

  For $699 that 51" samsung 3d plasma was a great buy

  you can pick this up for $100 more anywhere so if you dont believe in the " carton damage " description not much of a loss

  Can get a JB for 1400. Not saying it is better but it is the alternative.
