Could this be region A / B switchable or region free (for blu-ray)? Can it play Mkv with subtitle srt? Thanks!

$97.90 with free shipping appears to be the regular price at VideoPro (http://www.videopro.com.au/p-4026-samsung-bdd5100-blu-ray-pl…) which may be cheaper depending on where you live.

From reading online it appears this player can be made DVD region free (not BD region free) only by using a Harmony or other programmable remote as the bundled remote does not have one of the buttons required to enter the code.
