 - Only themselves to blame for increasing prices. Just checked it’s $79 RRP for NBN50 FTTC. Madness. - No, it hasn’t always been. I paid $59pm (first 6 months) for NBN50 with ABB 4 months ago. Also got the first month free. Regular price for NBN50 per the contract was $69. They recently upped it to $79.

 - Yep. Churned from ABB yesterday. Upped their prices and reduced their speed (100/40) down to 100/20). Simple choice really.

 - They'll need at least $20 to match Superloop's limited time deal and most of Mate's everyday prices if you're not picky. - I am on Mates, and the speed is really good at all times. Average speed is around 92Mbps. $79 for 100/20, no contract, no setup fee. Really happy so far. - And Mates don't use CG-NAT. I moved from ABB to Mates 3 months ago, saving me 25$ per month for 100/20. (ABB charge 5$ for public ip).

 - thanks :D
gonna try mate for a month so i can switch back to superloop as a new customer

 - after 6mth,price increase
 - Don't go with these guys. I transferred from SL only to get a price hike 3 months later. Fuxxors. - easy enough to change back if they do that

 - I moved from ABB 50/20 $79 to Tangerine 100/20 for $75 a month for the first 6 months, after which I’ll go to Mate NBN 100/20 for $79 (both Tangerine and Mate use Vocus). - Thanks for letting us know

 - Price hike during a health pandemic/global recession. Would have to be the biggest bunch of twats running this company. - it seems counter intuitive but actually the demand on retail ISPs rocketed as everyone is working from home - therefore it put strain on their system, which has capacity but probably closed the buffer that they normally have. I agree a 10%-15% price increase is a little steep and I'll probably churn away at the end of this month as a result.

 - I tried putting the code in and it said "Invalid promo/referral code provided" I then changed my address and tried the same code and it worked! Anyway know what's going on?
 - Came across this wholesale price list from nbnco outlining their wholesale charges. Anyone thinking NBN end user providers are doing it tough might find this price list food for thought - there's anywhere from $20 - $70 per home customer/month profit in these figures, it's a handsome amount of money to be made in this business by the looks of it. Oh and a new customer account or change in speed results in a wholesale charge of $22 that's why everyone can afford to have month to month plan contracts now. - Anyone thinking NBN end user providers are doing it tough might find this price list food for thought - Except the price list that you’ve found is the unbundled plans with no CVC inclusion, every RSP uses the bundled AVC/CVC plans - see page 152 - fair enough maybe not quite as much profit, but there's still a good 50% markup on many of the plans. - Average price for Home Fast - $90-$100 - wholesale price $58-$65
Average price home superfast - $120 - wholesale price $68
Average Price home Ultrafast - $140 - wholesale price $80- Entry level users are a bit skinny $10-$20 per month per customer but those with large households and 4k streaming needs - biggggg $$$$$$ - I stand by my first comment they are raking in the dollars… - I stand by my first comment they are raking in the dollars… - You do realise there’s much more to an internet connection than just the ‘last mile’ connection that NBN supply, don’t you?
