I have 80K Telstra Plus points sitting in the account for so long and haven’t been able to find anything worth getting. What should I do with it? I really want to get rid of the points first then Port out to another provider for 30 days before porting back to Telstra for another deal.

If I take this offer and then upgrade my plan to 115 per Month from my Telstra APP, I am assuming I still need to pay 594 ETC ?

Even If I need to pay ETC of $594, I will still get 45k Telstra Points, worth 450$ !
$99 = 1188
$50 p/m = 600
ETC + $50 pm = 1194
So essentially, you get 45k points +30GB more data.
Looking through the store the 45k telstra points look more like $80-$150
You would have to wait for those extreme look good deals that run out quickly, and expect it to be something you actually want

Good question but I think porting numbers can only be done when signing up for a new contract? I don't think you can port in a number to replace an existing number, but happy to be corrected

1329 - 700 = 649 (cash out for phone)
649 + 594 (etc) + 89 (initial pay) = 1332
1349 - 1332 = $17 savings
Or my math is way off?
You could save ~ $110 if you cancel on day one. But why not just try and get discounted JB hifi card and you save all the trouble.
