    • MEMORY: Crucial 16GB (1x 16GB)
      Uhhh
    • +1

      We know….
as we mention, not for everyone…ah~~~

      • +1

I reckon it's more flexible and you can upgrade later on

        • +8

Disagree, you're throwing away performance today for a chance of something in the future.

You can still run dual channel with 4 sticks of ram btw

  • +3

Pretty good deal! Yeah maybe 2x8gb would be smart!

    • done that, thank you for the feedback

  • what is the shipping like?

    • +6

$30 flat shipping, anywhere in Australia

      • +2

        sounds reasonable.

  • +1

ATi doesn't exist any more ;)

Since 2010, AMD's graphics processor products have ceased using the ATI brand name.

    • +1

Haha it either shows they've been in the game for ages and know their stuff…or they're horribly out of date and haven't kept up!

But miss you ati. Amd is at least doing their legacy just with the new 6000 series!

      • +5

Our team were all play AOE2 ladder back in the days….

      • I still love that brand ATi and prefer that over AMD, though I still like the company AMD :)

  • Virco why no dual channel?

    • Simple , no complication, can be future upgrade for 16GB x 2?

    • +5

Allow to change between 1 stick or dual channel now. Hopefully this helps.

      • +1

Can't see the option to switch between the two

        • +2

Options is up. Now you can choose between 1x16GB or 2x8GB 3200 RAM

          • +5

            @virco: Might as well add 2 x 16gb haha.

          • @virco: Can I have 2x16GB memory, may be with a small fee?
            Thanks.

            • @seniordoc: yes, you can.

please Private message us to get the details.

  • Would anyone suggest this for casual gaming or go all in for 3080 build (~$2000), which may last me for 5+ years?
Currently still using XPS17 laptop that I bought in 2012…..Thanks for your input.

    • +1

this is more than good enough for casual gaming. the 5700xt competes with the 2070,2080 and is beat by the 2080s by around 5-10 fps. and the processor is really good, better than the ryzen 5 3600 which is a great processor. the only downside is the ram as its not dual channel.

      • +3

We just decided to be able to let the customer choose between (1x 16GB) or (2x 8GB) 3200, hopefully this sweeter the deal a bit. Thank you for the feedback.

        • When can I expect it to arrive in WA? Thanks!

          • +1

@jus0212: can be post out by tomorrow, not sure how long would that take for TNT to courier to WA. Please private message me with your post code, we can try to find it out

        • Nice, this makes this a solid deal

      • -1

Lol the 5700xt is not beaten by just 5 to 10 fps compared with the 2080 super.

This card sits between 2060 Super & 2070 Super depending on the game.

Theres maybe a handful of games where the fps difference is rougly 10fps…

Also i'm more of an AMD fan compared to Nvidia.

    • The GPU would perform in between a 2060 Super and a 2070 Super

    • get 20-series gpu instead then atleast you'll be able to enjoy dlss and rtx

  • +1

Would've been better if you just went for a cheaper b450 board and added dual channel RAM with the money saved.

    • +3

yeah~ why not… I recon people like Dual channel more than One stick. Yeah, we can change from (1x 16GB) to (2x 8GB) 3200 for popular demand. Just message us, let us know what you prefer.

  • +2

I have this set right now, be mindful the GPU fan is a bit nosy , other than that , its pretty good.

  • Can a smaller case be used for this build?

    • nope. B450 is a standard ATX board. mATX case won't fit the board.

      • awwww :(

          • @HaveANiceDay: yeh thanks, is that a good deal?

I'm happy to pay a bit more for the 3700x

Should I wait for black friday?

            • @Homr: I can't make up my mind. The logical part of me is whispering saying wait till end of the month…

            • +1

@Homr: It's a great deal. Black Friday isn't that prominent in Australia so I'm not sure if Black Friday will have good deals then.

If you're just gaming, I would consider this a better deal, however it seemed you wanted MicroATX which is why I linked you to that. It's like the other deal they had posted, but with some better and some worse parts but still great value and just slightly bit more expensive than their last deal.

            • @Homr: Actually, eh

              https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/MXfb8J

              In comparison with last deal:
              Worse motherboard
Better CPU Cooler also with RGB lol
              Worse PSU
              Not sure about case

You'd only be saving around $100 including labour and warranty and whatever

              The 3700X build here: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/3npcqp

RAM's different but simiarly priced just wasn't bothered moving my mouse down a slight bit

              • @HaveANiceDay: ok u just confused me even more lol

                • +1

@Homr: If you want to play 1440p on a budget this 5700XT is a better deal than the 2060 Super one. Perhaps not every component I would have chosen (power supply in particular but shouldn't have any problem with these components)

                  • @daffyd: can I play 1440p on 2060S?

the deal breaker for me is the case. I'm after a small case rather than a full tower due to space in my room.

                    • @Homr: Not at max settings I'd say. A 5700 XT or 2070 Super would be a lot more suitable for 1440p

                      • @HaveANiceDay: ok thank you. I'm not a fan of AMD, I always thought geforce was far more superior

                        • @Homr: In terms of workstation, sure. In terms of gaming, AMD provided better value before the 2070 Supers got to the same price. Nvidia does provide the advantage of DLSS though.

                        • @Homr: I have read lots of drivers issue with AMD in the past, particularly with their 5700XT but fairly sure the latest Adrenaline drivers rectified it.

                    • @Homr: 2060s will struggle on the latest games at 1440p. 5700XT is stronger for gaming.

If you have very particular requirements you may need to build your own or pay up for customisation. You could request a custom quote of this with a 5700XT?

                      https://www.virco.com.au/products/virco-n406a-gaming-pc

                      • @daffyd: Thanks, I have messaged the OP

  • what are the case measurements - I have a custom built desk and it needs to fit……

  • This is a great deal for gaming, prob can get high/ultra settings in most games at 1080p.

I have similar build except with 2070 Super, would have jumped on it couple of weeks back before I built this PC.

  • Good deal? Are these guys Legit? Seems like there's no warranty…

Also hows it go vs https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/577276 ?

    Thanks,

    • Full one year RTB (Return to base) warranty.

    • +1

Well, the Techfast deal has a much better GPU, and a better motherboard, however a worse CPU than this one. This is much cheaper however

      • Techfast one has a lot better GPU, but have to consider when you'll actually get it lol, maybe even after New Year. Sounds like they are way behind in honoring their builds - heard someone ordered the RTX 3080 build in Sep and still haven't got it.

If these guys can deliver next week, then its a pretty good deal.

        • Virco says that they can build this deal and ship within the next day.

  • @virco - All drivers and Bios up to date as well?

    • Yes, but we hear that don't update to the latest 5700xt driver.

  • Windows 10 (not activated) would be a bonus.

  • How much would a Virco N406a Gaming PC with a nzxt 510 case be?

    • Please private message us for any customise components

      • Would prefer this with a B550. Extra how much? Thanks.

        • Please private message us for any customise components

  • oops - please reply in PM :)

  • Windows 10 installed?

    • Windows 10 Pre-Installed, not activated.

  • If I was to compare this to i7-10700, 16GB, GTX1660Ti, 500GB M.2… for video editing?😁

    • What software for editing?

      • DaVinci Resolve 15, Cyberlink PowerDirector 18

        • +1

In terms of GPU, this deal will be a lot better obviously. However you could settle for a cheaper build as a 2060 Super seems to perform better. Seems like the 10700 would be better for Resolve, however this still really good. Have no idea about Cyberlink.

          • +1

@HaveANiceDay: Yeah 3600x seems better in benchmarks too. 1080Ti is old I know. But at the moment I'm using much older system, I7 3770, 16GB, K620.

Might wait few weeks for Black Friday😎

            Cheers!

            • @LukeOz83: 1080 Ti? 3600X? Where did you get that from haha. Waiting for that might be a good idea. If you decide to build one yourself, I can whip out a pcpartpicker list if ya want.

              • @HaveANiceDay: Oops reading too many posts getting confused haha. 1660Ti, 3700X haha

I was thinking building one up but off the shelf will work better for me I think, more for warranty purposes

  • +1

Hi, will you have another deal on the 2070 or 2070 super?

  • Not likely

  • +1

Anyone purchased from these guus before?

  • +1

Isn't this GPU the one that was blasted by Hardware Unboxed?
    Like the VRM
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJU8jKIYtS4

    • +1

I think this gpu is the updated rx 5700xt tuf that Asus produced in light of the vrm problem.

      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LpW1gku2Kc4

ASUS Radeon RX 5700 XT TUF Gaming X3 EVO OC 8GB Video Card is the updated one I am pretty sure and the one without evo is the old model.

    • This sire, is a very interesting question indeed, thanks for sharing.

  • nooooooooo… it sold out. please do more of these!

    • +1

Normally we post a deal on Sunday morning (Sydney timezone) (but depends on our competitor as well), got to act fast next time. Thank you for the overwhelming responses, Ozbargainers are the best!

      • no, you guys are the best

      • perhaps next good deal will features 3070?

  • Told you guys, this is a good deal, gone already lol! Can't wait to see next deal Sunday.

  • One buyer's payment didn't go through, releasing one unit.

    • sold. So quick…. Thank you for the support.

    • Are any other units being released? Would love to get one. Had one in cart but couldn’t place order

  • Hey Guys Just asking is Virco and Titan Tech one and the same? havent seen any deals from TT fot a while I note on there websites have the same shop address..

  • We are totally different company. We are good friend to each other. We are helping TitanTech with some build, and if customer like to pick up the system from Titan Tech, we are the pick up point. We may have different promotion from time to time and different build. We take care of our own warranty.

  • OK thanks mate looking forward to more good deals
