  I'm looking for an office workhorse that is suitable for a bit of light gaming around this price range. Can anyone offer an opinion as to whether these specs would be suitable?

      Weak in the GPU department. If you are looking for full gaming but also looks good have a look at the Zephyrus g14.

      If you are finding a office laptop with power, have a look at the look at Razer Blade 15, Asus zenbook with amd 4500u/4700u and nvedia mx250 (note the GPU is still not good).

      Or look at the xps 15 with a 1650ti and the h processors. So more power.

      The razer and xps are expensive btw
