  • Do people even still use these?

  • For 25% off dining, they have a good selection of restaurants and no exclusions. Can dine alone and its 25% off total bill including alcohol.

I think the rest of the vouchers are pretty useless though.

  • After signing up and taking a look, I think not. Not much in there I could use but I am outer CBD.

  • how do you get the targeted blue banner. this was my first go at posting and I think someone fixed it for me.

  • Just got this in my inbox, thanks OP.

Do you have the link they sent?

  • I found more and more restaurants decided not to take Entertainment book vouchers while their vouchers still appear in the app. They simply said "sorry, the boss told us not to accept vouchers any more". It's pretty annoying and puts me off from using the book.

      Ahhh right.
Yeah had problems last year (plus Covid).
No compensation from ent book company or discount for this year.
First time haven't bought in years.

I used to prefer the book as you could swap or give them to friends easily.

Some of the BOGOF for food or attractions were useful, but only ever used <5% most times.

    • If you give family your login they can login to the app on their phone (although you can only have one app logged in at a time so when you log back in it will kick them off).

I really liked the book & was sceptical about the app but when the offered the trial a while back I tried it out & its great. The main benefit is much easier search for places in particular suburbs, nearby or particular restaurant names.

I always save a lot more than the cost of the membership, plus it helps out a charity.

Been using EB for years but decided not to USE it even though I have it since COVID hit, Restaurants/cafe etc all are struggling so why further drain them out with BOGOF or 25% off thingy.. probably & ethically I will use it next year June onwards or so when things settle down a bit.

  • Thanks! I had this email but wouldn't have realised it without this post. I didn't renew this year, so when activating this offer it let me login with my previous account. Purchased some gift cards, but with 1.25% fee it is almost not worth it …almost :)
