  Well it's not really something i can compare because i've never tried any airpods, but i find them pretty good. Solid, fit in my ear perfect and has never once accidentally fallen out, though i've never done a run with them in so i can't also comment on that.
  
  They work really well with my Xiaomi mi 9 and Xiaomi mi 10 pro phones, haven't tried with other devices sorry.

  I bought my kids the Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2SE Earbud True Wireless Earphone Air 2 (I think it’s the cheap version of the ones on here)
  My youngest thinks they sound way better than her AirPods! Btw the ones I bought were very cheap on eBay (paid about $30 each delivered from Australia)

    Overall better than AirPods2.
    Audio quality better with xiaomi. More immersive experience with noise cancellation. The deep sounds are tremendous, and there is no discrepancy between the highs and lows, even at maximum volume. It also supports AAC, SBC, and LHDC Hi-Res audio codecs.
    Better/secure comfort & touch gestures.

  My partner bought 2 sets of the original Mi True Wireless Earphone v1 while he was in Hong Kong last year. He has been a happily using one set. The main complaint is that the battery only last a few hours.
  
  I opened the second set earlier this week to find that the left earpiece would only hold about 5 songs worth of batteries. It would die and the right earpiece would continue to work and report it's battery to be at 90%.
  
  I'm a huge fan of Xiaomi myself, so it's very disappointing to ended up with this dud unit.

is that RRP legitimate? $229? Not sure if I am looking at the exact model but Aliexpress is selling these for way cheaper than $90.
Aliexpress usually inflate their RRP to give a "discounted" price, but even with Xiaomi Official Store on Aliexpress it's $80 down from RRP of $100.
