This is standard price. Was $99 on prime day, I'd wait for a similar deal fellas.

    • Yep, and got an additional $10 off by using the Amazon app (first time discount offer, may have been targeted).

  • It’s not even in stock?

  • +3

    Bro that's the standard price.

    Why is this a bargain?

    • +9

      this isn't whybargain

  • There's no bargain to see here. Move along.

  • +1

No bargain, this is the normal price.

  • I know calibre, but can we hack/root/jailbreak kindle so it becomes like Kobo (ie we can drop drag EPUB files and it reads them)

    • +4

No but there's a very simple workaround that I use. Simply rename your EPUB to .PNG and email it to your kindle's email address. Gets auto converted and reads perfectly.

      • Wow sound cool…. Maybe time to upgrade my 9 years old Kobo touch when kindle on sale again.

        • -7

Deals not for Sydneysiders, covid cases going up. Please focus on reducing your numbers first

        • And if you wanna keep your library organised on your computer you can use Calibre & it will auto convert all epubs too.

      • That’s hilariously simple, gotta try this.

        • +1

Just a handy tip. If you send via your phone, the Gmail mobile app screws up the file extension. Other email apps work fine or Gmail from a PC browser is fine too.

      • No way! Will try!

  • This is just advertising. Amazon doesn't require us to advertise for them.

  • Oznobargain

  • Sorry to neg vote if there is no bargain

  • +2

This is RRP AND On backorder AND was $99 just 8 days ago from amazon! This post should be removed because its just pointless advertising for amazon which they don't need or want.

  • This got 8 positive votes lol

    • That's because they weren't around for Prime Day ;-)

  • +1

Only reason to upvote this is someone mistook it as paperwhite.

  • Got the Paperwhite for 135.45 (when cashback is factored in) on Prime Day. No deal here.

    • Any feedback on that one? I'm tossing up between that and the Oasis (in a few weeks during BF/CM sales) but can't seem to justify the Oasis pricing just yet :-|

Even better than Ozrrp, it’s Ozrrp+backordered! Super.

  • +1

    Backordered RRP…

  • For the uninitated I actually read the title and thought a new model had been released!

  • As per other RRP comments. Unlike the Nintendo Mario game and watch “deals”…
