Shopping Vouchers for V-Line Ticket Holders - Melb and Various VIC Regional Cities

50

Got an email this morning from V-Line which has compiled together some deals to travellers. Looks like the only condition is that you hold a valid V-Line ticket at the time you claim the offer. Most of them have expiry of December 31 with a few exceptions. Here the link to the pdf file:

http://www.vline.com.au/pdf/discovervictoria/shopping_voucheā€¦

as you can see they have offers in major regional cities aroung VIC, plus a few for Melbourne as well.

I don't have time to stroll through all the offers and see which ones have good discounts as compared to how much discount the individual merchants can provide from time to time, so don't neg me simply because the % discount is not deep enough - I'm simply providing deals that you may use with your own discretion, especially if you are happening to be travelling on V-Line already.

Would imagine this to be most useful for commuters who hold periodic tickets and need a quick bite near the station. There are quite a few of them.

  • 39 pages of coupons deserves a +ve… now to find the cheapest v-line ticket i can purchase…….

    • broadmedows to Southern cross or Southern Cross to North Melbourne (if that works!)

      • Actually, there are quite a few V/Line trips that cost just $2 (or $1 concession), see http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p1333674.htm#1333674.

Broadmeadows to Southern Cross you have to use a Metcard or Myki anyway, and would cost as much as $6 (or $3.40 for concession). And you can't go from North Melbourne to Southern Cross on V/Line, you will get glared at and/or you could get fined ;).

        • No I said southern cross TO north melbourne

  • There are some great deals among the pages :)
