Option 1:
Total monthly cost after "upgrading" to XL and paying $600 ETC ($50 per month)…
$65 plan cost + $50 ETC = $115 per month for an S20 FE with 180gb a month i.e. $0.639 per GB
VS
Option 2:
$99 plan cost and no ETCs = $99 per month for an S20 FE with 150gb a month i.e $0.660 per GB
Based on the above, Option 1 is marginally better on a per gb basis. You're essentially paying 16 for an extra 30gb i.e. paying $0.533 per gb ($16/30).
