Just got an email from kogan. Pretty high speed version of the oneplus 7 pro. Noted a previous deal was noted here for an 8gb ram version. Worth it?

The last deal 679 was way better
679 days wait?
Yeah… $220 extra for some bling and 4Gb of RAM is a huge price difference.
Hmm but McLaren, go fast!
Originally the deal was marked as "in 59 days". Thats what I was referring to.
I can order it right now - leaves the warehouse in 1-2 days.
I think Realme X3 superzoom is a better choice.
What's realme's update history like? Delay in security updates, missed months and OS update delay? Do they also get 3 years of updates?
All true in terms of official supports. But if you are sensitive to price like me and prefer better cameras then the story may be different. Plus I always root my devices and I don't mind installing third-party ROMs from the community. So official support is never my first concern. Yes, LCD is a drawback, but the cameras set is a win. So it really depends on personal favorites.
At that price get a pixel 5 or pixel 4xl…
Sure, with the fantastic IPS LCD screen 🤣
the new 8T is coming, in a couple of days the older models will become much cheaper
bUt iS iT mClArEn EdItIoN?
Put this mClArEn EdItIoN in your car and you will receive a few more speeding tickets in your mail box.
pop up cameras are just painful to use, not worth it
Absolutely wholeheartedly disagree - maybe if you're the selfie taking type they are. For me the extra screen real estate is a plus, and they've done a great job making the mechanism dust and waterproof as can be. I smashed my 7pro screen and paid $500 to repair it rather than upgrade to 8 - popup camera main factor in that decision
takes time for that baby to pop up, and it's extra power wasted.
I wish these phones had something like Dex - the 12GB would come in handy then
I agree, but unfortunately only Samsung and Huawei have decent built-in Desktop mode feature.
This would have been a great deal 6 months ago.
McLaren are notorious for poor electricals and build quality. Why would a phone manufacturer want to associate with that?
Speed
I love mcchicken edition .😂
A further 5% off with code HIGHFIVE for ppl who like this.
Worth it? what? the 59 days wait?
