I spotted this beauty last Saturday @ Costco Auburn NSW , and today i brought "her" home! There is no direct link to this product so i have uploaded my receipt.
More info here : http://www.tdkperformance.com/en-au/Home-Audio/Boomboxes/2-S…
The price is $399.99 they only had the 2-speaker model, 7 boxes left.
I haven't had much time for a "good" internet search, but I've seen a couple of sites selling it over $600. I don't think i could get it cheaper from U.S. as most U.S. sites don't ship to Australia.Even if they did , the item is quite heavy and i suppose the shipping cost would kill the deal.
P.S. 1.Costco requires a $60 membership(x2 persons) , so if you don't want to pay extra money just find a friend who's already a member ;)
P.S. 2. it's my first posted deal, you don't have to be nice…i'll learn :)

Fixed! Thank you.
(You should start with a capital letter after a "."( "so" should be "So" )
Also, you forgot to put a "." at the end of your comment! :P )Touché :)
:)
there's a reason why these things went out of fashion:
"Power Source: 10 'D' batteries"
a set of 10 fully charged Ds where more common than unicorns when I was growing up.
still.. it should make a worthy companion when playing cricket/bbq down at the park etc.
if your gonna use it alot, worth getting some of these

and some good rechargeable.
well prolly better getting D rechargeable, but i use these since i already have eneloops from past deals.
Mate, AA cells are simply not gunna cut it in a heavy usage product like this ghetto blaster.
bit of a warning about this product:
"I purchased the 2 speaker boombox after trying many other ipad and smartphone compatible units. The TDK looks cool and sounds great. It even impressed my neighbor who only buys Apple branded products. Although heavy I awas pleased with having a portable battery operated unit and then…
I left a set of batteries in for a couple of weeks and no power. Bought another set of batteries, the unit worked and I again left it for a couple weeks. No power when I tried it. Mind you I made sure the unit was turned off. I contacted TDK and they performed atest and they had the same problem after 3 days.
What was their response? That is what the unit does. It cycles through the batteries and drains them. Take the batteries out when not in use.Now I have to carry the boom box and a sack of batteries if I want to use it away from home."

wooooowwwww the 80's called, they want their crap back
Sorry, but I am struggling to understand why ANYBODY would buy a huge, ugly thing like that for $400?
i think it's much more beautiful than most boomboxes i've seen! i agree you can find cheaper ones, ones with better sound or more options, smaller ones etc but that's a matter of taste! can you name one product you think it's better than this?
Wow. $400? Really? Even back in the day you could get a decent one for MUCH less.
m8, i don't make those prices! IMHO 400 instead of 649 is a "good" deal for this decent boombox!
And back in the day you couldn't buy a usb, iphone compatible, rds fm boombox so i really don't understand your comparison!
Here in Australia we use this "." between dollars and cents.
so your post should say $399.99 not $399,99
