Participants must be 12+ years of age

    deal breaker :(

That's ok, they don't know your emotional age, jv. :P :)

    • if i have a plane, i wouldnt even let a person under 20 year to operate it.

  • 167 have been sold and it states

"Travel in a brand new aircraft"

I highly doubt they will all get to fly a brand new plane…

    • :) yeah, someone will have to pop the cherry.. then it's used goods ;p

i guess they mean they aren't using the 30y/o cessna 152s that most other schools use

  • Fly *an aeroplane.

    • i thought it was "airplane" ?

      • +1

        Both spellings are correct

    • shouldnt it be Fly 'in' an aeroplane? … unless the deal is for me to pilot one.

"YOU take the controls with a fully qualified instructor by your side"

Seems pretty clear. You fly it (in a highly controlled environment).

        • +1

I don't see dangling in the air with a novice at the controls considered "a highly controlled environment"… lol

@ Elijah: Perhaps a real pilot sits beside you with a gun at your head, and if you do anything stupid or novice-like, they have the right to shoot you and land the plane themselves afterward. That ought to control it. ;-)

        • oops, my bad. =D

  • My guess is that you don't actually pilot the plane yourself for 30 mins. I assume you get a 30 minute flight and during that time, you are permitted to fly the plane, but it won't be the whole time. I have no evidence, I'm just speculating that if you got to fly it for 30 mins, they'd advertise you got to "Experience 45 minutes of incredible air-borne adventure", because they're not going to let you land or take-off.

    • I wanted to land dammit !

      • me too lol, this is deal breaker haha

Any tall towers in Brisvegas…? Preferably in a twin configuration?

    • +5

You're going to hit them sequentially with one plane? Hahaha, back to the drawing board with you.

      • +2

        i agree, poor form

This isn't 4chan kid, poor taste, no matter what stance you take on the subject.

Try the Gold Coast instead - take your pick of any of the 100 eyesores along the shore line.

    • LOL

    • not even remotely funny. Just horrible

"You will only be asked to do things the instructor knows…"

    • Yeah, we don't a situation like this:

Instructor: Ok do a frozzamatazz flop.
Student: How do I do that?!
      Instructor: I don't know.

  • I bought this for my father for fathers day and he absolutely loved it. the instructor was really really friendly and helpful.
I can easily recommend this for anyone interested.
