    Current price of A7C seems to be $3188 and who knows when there will be any deals on it. That's a big price gap for basically the same camera with few small differences. I would recommend A7iii unless a flippy screen is a must for you.

    I was very interested in the idea of the 7C when it was first announced but it doesn't seem like enough of a step forward from the A7III to me for the price. In my opinion it seems to make a lot of compromises in usability (less buttons, less dials) for a rather insignificant size reduction from the A7III. Guess a big thing for people will be the flip screen but that is not so important for my use.

    If it was about half the price I would consider it for the form factor but now the specs are confirmed I'll just wait for the A7 IV. I am expecting the A7 IV to be much more expensive but if I'm paying that sort of money to begin with I may as well get a generational upgrade rather than an iteration/sidegrade.

    If you mainly do video or like vlog then yeah the A7C is better with the flip screen and slightly better Autofocus, otherwise same camera besides smaller viewfinder on the A7C
