Many business Dell, HP and Lenovo laptops will refuse to charge if they detect a non-genuine charger. Third party chargers won't work either. So if you buy one it'll most likely end up being a paperweight.

Not all non-genuine chargers are dodgy, even the expensive Targus/Belkin "Universal" chargers are all non-genuine. What is a little odd is the title - this is OzBargain so you don't need to tell us it's a Genuine Deal which has resulted in a lot of confusion.
While the title is misleading, I don't think that's the only issue. Fact is they're just not very good value, even before the $6 shipping that isn't mentioned by the rep.

Community can be critical at times.. but personally I welcome your posts and willingness to use this as a lesson. Hope it doesn't deter you from future deals and look forward other bargains you have to offer (Excel Computers are close to me too).
I think there is a lot of value in having a physical presence with easy returns/refunds and having the experience you have in selling chargers.
thanks for your encouragement. will post new deals once i am allowed (tried yesterday but seemed i got limited maybe due to more negative votes than positive. so have to wait and do not know when and how i can come back).
will do price search/comparison wider, but i really can not count those overseas sellers on Ebay. my supplier in China cut out the ac box and explained the price difference—-those cheap ones use fewer circuit units than needed.

you can choose not to buy our products, but for your benefits: be careful in buying on Ebay particularly of the AC power adapters. bad quality one will burn your laptop(our lessons five years ago); those from overseas directly, are mostly rubbish, either can not last or easy to cause fire. we have been in this industry for over 5 years, sold tens of thousands in different channels. we know the trick behind. i personally went to visit the factories and we cut out the AC box to learn the design, elements and understand the trick of cheapies—-simply no enough elements used.

sorry everybody. i have changed the title, not meaning the genuine brand but genuine deals. supposed to add another word such as "replacement product"—-it was hard to squeeze the words in the limited space of the title part when i wanted to have the brands name there for search keywords. i apologize for this misleading title will change it if there still any misleading feeling.
we done the business for more than 5 years. a real deal is not only the price but also the prices. i know everybody can buy one off ebay at $17 but you check the feedbacks. some gives you 5 year warranty but do you really want to return the faulty goods back to china at 30aud? we are local and have physical warehouse, come anytime to see us and feel free to change or refund under warranty.

Non genuine , buy at your own risk. Better off getting genuine from ebay 2nd hand or new.
