Don't Need to say much these are the Arctic 140mm P14 PWM PST Fans… Kept an eye out after seeing the previous Arctic F12 120mm.

Description From Amazon:

OPTIMIZED FOR STATIC PRESSURE: Fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance, therefore, the P14 PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on heat-sinks and radiators

200 TO 1700 RPM REGULATED VIA PWM PST: Thanks to 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM, noise is kept at minimum while maximum cooling performance is given when needed

MORE EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY: The motor is powered by a Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the newest generation, which allows the new P14 PWM PST to run much more efficiently than its predecessors

EXTENDED LIFE SPAN: A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan, the new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature

TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 200–1700 RPM, Airflow: 72.8 CFM/123.76 m³/h (@ 1700 RPM), Noise Level: 0.3 Sone (@ 1700 RPM), Pin: 4-pin

When are the P12 value packs gonna be restocked :(

    • i was desperate, bought 4 of the P12 PWM PST Co from an ebay seller in Germany yesterday. around 20 each :(

      • +3

I'd be getting Noctua's from Newegg for $20ish each.

        • Which Noctuas?

        • Bought the Redux P14S @ 18.99 each from Newegg as well, came after 4 days in Victoria. Amazon has a weird qty limit of 1 for Noctuas

        • Noctua fans are far better in terms of build quality. I recently bought 2x P12 PWM fans and compared to the stock fan on my Noctua U12S, they are noisier at certain RPMs and you can see a slight wobble if you spin them by hand.

          • @Serapis: strange you said you sold your p14's because they were too noisy last time u criticized them - just a few weeks ago wasn't it?

            • @petry: Yeah I got a bunch of Artic fans for the Meshify C because I wanted my build to be black and non-rgb inside. Original plan was 2x 140mm front, 2x 120mm top, 1x 120mm bottom and 1x 120mm rear. Only other fan was from a U12S. It was either Artic or BeQuiet (which I've never used before) because this amount of Noctua fans would set me back $200+. Bought Artics on ebay solely on slightly cheaper price and positive reviews.

After installing the Artics, I found that it there was a whine coming from the front of the case, where the 140mms were installed when the computer was idle, between 800 - 1000 rpm based on hwinfo. I took them off and moved the top and bottom 120mms fans in their place but the whine was still there. Decided to just completely replace everything with Noctua fans after that and donated the 120mm fans to upgrade my brother's desktop which still had cheapy blue led coolermaster fans which were faaaaarrrr noisier. Would've given him the 140mm ones as well but his case doesn't fit them.

For my build now I settled with just 2x 140mm Noctua front and 1x 120mm rear.

The Artic fans are not bad fans by any means, in fact they are quite good for their price. However, in comparison with Noctua fans, the Noctua ones have a far sturdier build and you can see it in their performance and how quiet they are.

              • @Serapis: lots of reasons for whine and not necessarily fans. when you move anything in a case all the wiring moves. your experiences keep getting redefined so i'll stick to what i know

      • It's on Amazon US for $18 a pop w/prime but yeah $20 is still a "good" price for us aussies :(
The value pack hasn't been in stock on Arctic's Amazon page for like more than 2 months now

      • same. Got the white transparent version though which don't come in value packs.

    • +2

Ah, the best use for my 3D printer so far has been printing offset 120mm to 140mm fan mounts.
      Glorious upgrade.

    • Name a fan better than this with RGB

      • -3

thermalright C14. slightly better performance and slightly louder..

      • Noctua and artic really need to release RGB versions. Even if it was brown RGB on a noctua I would buy that lol

  • +1

Probably the best value to performance case fans out there.

  • +2

Currently have the P12s, these are great fans and price to performance is hard to beat.

  • How are these for radiators?

    • +1

      In the description:
"OPTIMIZED FOR STATIC PRESSURE: Fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance, therefore, the P14 PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on heat-sinks and radiators"

    • +1

      Static pressure - 2.4 mmH2O
      Airflow - 72.8 CFM.

Might be a bit below average compared to other 140mm static pressure fans.
The good ones have slightly higher pressure, higher airflow, or both.

      I use a Corsair ML120 for my radiator - 4.2 mmH2O, 75 CFM.
The stupidly good one is Noctua NF-A14 IPPC 3000 - 10.52 mmH2O, 158.8 CFM. Same price as 5 of those Arctic P14s.

  • I just need two, dangit

    One P14 is 40-60$ pff

  • +2

    Need P12 deal

These fans are awesome and excellent value $66.60. Here's a video review putting them up against more expensive fans and still coming out on top - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv1S9RhABa8

  • Paid $40 for 2x of these recently. Great fans for the money

  • How do these compare to noctua, mainly in terms of noise?

      • good vid, thanks!

    • +1

      Noctua NF-A14 spinning @ 1500rpm is 24.6 dBa
      Arctic P14 spinning @ 1700rpm is 0.3 Sone (which is 22.5 ~ 24.5 dBa)

So about the same noise-wise. Bead in mind the Noctua fans are like $40-50 each.

Here's a comparison video I found on the interwebs for a couple of 140mm fans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUdsTiRmuuU

    • Yeah as others have mentioned, it seems like these Arctic ones out perform the Noctuas in thermals, noise levels and price. Quite surprising findings from that video

      • I think the Noctua NF-A14 is still their "old" design, while their highly regarded NF-A12x25 is using the "new" design. The blades are of different shapes.

        • NF-A12x25 is a 120mm fan, so not really an apples to apples comparison. The Arctic P12 PWM would be the direct competitor. Having said that, no reason you cant use a 120mm in place of a 140mm, however I'd wager the P14 PWM would still push more air for a given noise level.

  • Thanks OP, been looking for them for months.

Definitely best price to performance fans, possibly just best 140mm case fans anyways.

  • Can I confirm that these fans will replace the existing fans in your case, and that you need to make sure that they are compatible with the case as some cases may only fit for 120mm fans?

    • +1

I will be using the fans as Intake and Exhaust in my Corsair 750D. Don't see a reason on why not. My case supports 140mm Intake and Exhaust, If i had a 280mm Radiator instead of 240mm i would of swapped these out for the crappy corsair fans on my h100i.

    • My case is older and only has cutouts for 120mm so I went for the P12's instead. Not sure how I could make these ones fit and the P14's seem to be rare/expensive in Australia for some reason.

  • Thanks OP. Can anyone recommend a good fan controller to go with these?

    • +3

They're pwm, just connect to motherboard.

    • They chain together so you can have a few running off of one header.

  • Strap one of these on there and overclock it :)

    • Oops! Was meant to post in this thread.

  • Ordered to replace my noctuas on my NH d14 and case fans.

  • +1

    Now $221.38 + $11.39 delivery, lol

  • +1

    Perfect for my OnlyFans setup!
