According to Major Nelson, EA Access (Xbox) will be worth 1/3rd per month of Game Pass Ultimate, so theoretically you can buy 12mth of EAA for A$37.19 and get 4mth of GPU for PC & Console.

I don't know when the cutoff will be for these, but if I get them I will probably hold on to the code until just before the inclusion date which is in 50 days.

    I am still wondering what is the best plan for someone who still has 18 months worth of gamepass - just wait it out and see if there is a deal when i expire, or grab little deals like these from time to time as a top up..

      That's a tough one. I suspect you're going to be on deals like this or the JB Hi Fi 3 months GPU + 3 Months free as by the time your sub expires its unlikely the GPU conversion process will still be around. Of course you could cancel your subscription, call MS to forcefully terminate it and go through the brazil trick and set your account up with 3 years for like $130 odd.

          Up to you of course but I think giving up 12 months to get unbeatable value on 3 years is worth the cost imo.

          If I recall, any account on the same xbox as an account with gold gets the benefits? So yeah having another account with 3 years of GPU would benefit his main account.

              @JuryWheel: I think so, yes. If you set your Xbox one as the home Xbox on wife's profile, then any other profile on there should have access to gold and game pass. But best google to confirm.

              Anyone who uses that Xbox will have the same access your account does when they sign in with their non gold account

                @Danstar: Yes but as far as I understood explained by XBOX's representative can only the "main account" holding the sub download the games/access Game Pass. The other accounts on your XBOX home can still play the games, just not access Game Pass.

    Just a reminder that this is ONLY if you have purchased EA Play through Xbox (or, presumably, redeemed through Xbox). If you bought EA Play on Origin, you will not get the credit.

    Do some VPN trickery to get the Argentina EA Play credit, it's still like 6 AUD a year there.

      I got that deal a while ago, no VPN was needed. It continued after the first year as well, I got charged another $8 or so a few weeks ago for another 12 months.
      Does this mean I'll get a couple of extra months GPU now? I'm already signed up until some time in 2022 :)

      You can’t use a vpn to purchase from Argentina anymore. Only to redeem gift cards.

      Already allowed with game sharing. Your account and a 2nd console can play any of your games (owned, XBL or XB games pass) at the same time.

      I was just able to pay for the following month in advance on Xbox website, so have 6 weeks left at old price.
      It is disappointing that we are now paying the full amount on PC over a month before it includes the EA games.

      That's why Xbox is ending EA Play on the console and merging it with GPU. They will be converting the leftover EA days to GPU at 1/3 ratio.
