Basic features, but still somehow lower than the price of 1 official Apple Watch strap.

Saw this yesterday but realised the Amazfit Bip S would be a better bet and ended up ordering that from Amazon. Also Mobvoi itself is launching the new GTX for $80 which may be better than this.

    • What did you pay for Bip S?

    • According to Amazon the Amazfit Bip S comes with Ediable Dials! Awesome! Sold!

The TicWatch GTX is currently $72.89 on Amazon and its not lime, would this be a better option?

GTX is not a Wear OS (by Google) watch.
That may not matter to you.

    • Probably. The "S" has WearOS, but that is bad enough on new hardware - I dread to think how slow it is on an old MT2601.

You won't have all the apps for the GTX, but may not miss it.

Beware the reviews an info on the Amazom page that apply to the newer S2 model. Very dodgy seller there.

  • How about just getting a Mi band 5 or 4

    • I've lost several "pucks" on the Mi bands. IMO actually watch designs are better. YMMV.

I'm likely to regret it but I have purchased. Thanks OP.

I’ve got the same feeling lol.

  • Cheapest wearos watch ever I believe.

Not sure how this goes against the fossil gen 4 I picked up a few months ago, but on that if you turn everything on the battery doesn't last a day. It can at times be a bit slow, but that hasn't been an issue for me. The nfc payments only work if you have a pin code, which if you ask me is annoying as hell because you need to put the pin in to do anything if you activate it, not just pay, which makes that feature useless.

Since working mainly from home it's not been a huge issue, but I have been rotating between two watches to make up for the poor battery life. It that's far from ideal

I gave this away. Less than a day charge.
Bad for running. Slow gps lock and poor gps tracking. A 30 min run depleats the battery by 50%. I had a charger in the car and at work to keep it going around the clock. So water sensitive I didn't want to wear it in the rain.
On the plus side, the lurid band is a real conversion starter.
$66 spent on chocolate or hand sanitiser represents better value for money.

    • At least with amazon, you have the option to return it if you don’t like it.

Got this delivered today and sorta blown away by the performance to price ratio :)

It’s updated itself a number of times over and now sports software that’s just 3 months old. V 2.17

The watch is actually smoother on the new os and software than the one it came with.

    Quite impressed.

    • 100% agree. Thought I would regret it. Dont have one iota of regret. Really good bit of kit for the price!
