  • That 26 piece set for $12.50 is a nice buy. The kind of set you can fit in a pocket but can get you out a jam. Curious to know what the ratchet is like?

Look at the customer photos, it looks like a rachet for ants :)

      • :) true, I was excited first then later saw the review images. Lucky didn't bought straight away.

        • Ordered, and then saw this post. Went back and cancelled it. phewww :D

          • @prime47: What were you all expecting? A 1/2" socket set? That ratchet will provide more than enough torque to strip your screws :)

    • Perfect fit for the pocket dictionary pants you haven't worn since the 1970s.

    • Good for random Christmas gift.

Material is not specified, judging from the finish the bits do not look like made of hardened tool steel.

4 random sockets and a miniature ratchet.

Can recommend this set if you want something nice and small for yourself: https://www.sidchrome.com.au/product/38-piece-metric-14-driv…

      to where?

      • I was curious about that too.

  • Thanks got the 26 piece set. Good to combine with Shopback's bonus. The small size is what makes it most interesting for my intended use.

Woops I didn't read the Shopback promo and enter the code… Time to reorder and cancel

  • Do any of these sets come from Germany? Like I really like German tools even though I don't touch their stupid cars (anymore).

    • +2

review said made in china, if you want true German-made tool, look for Wera brand, they are exceptional well-made

  • Cheers OP! Bought one.

  • How does Bosch Cordless Drill Driver UniversalDrill 18 compare with the bunnings one https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-drill-driver-kit_p… ?

    • +1

Bosch green is the lowest quality Bosch tools. They are ok for home use, the odd soft wood drilling/driving should be no problem. Same goes for the ozito. In terms of quality Ive had both and both were reasonable.
Ozito stopped dead after around 3 year mark, with fairly regular home use, Bosch lasted a little bit longer, maybe 5yrs, but same failure, stopped dead.
I did use the Bosch for heavier work, as I built some redgum garden beds with coach screws, so you could say I probably killed it

      • @jsefrog. Thanks a lot for that info , my usage is very minimal and not heavy. I think I will go with ozito + bunnings gift card will bring it to 90$

      • Great feedbacks, do you think the Brushless Impact drill would be a better option?

    • Just in case you didnt see, Bunnings is currently selling the Ozito Power X Change 18V Compact Drill with the Impact Driver Kit for $99.98

  • Thanks OP
