Kava capsules. I also doubt that the yaqona root has variants that help specific relaxation needs. This product is a total sham.
From the product descriptions it looks like variants are a formulation containing not just kava but other ingredients as well, e.g. ginseng, rhodiola herb, jujube. Only the 'noble kava' version is standalone kava extract. Possible it's a sham. I don't know enough about properties of the other herbs in the variants to say. I have heard good things about kava before, so wouldn't mind giving the straight kava version a try.
The kava root dies have a very relaxing effect. It's not an upper upper feeling but it just "loosens " your body and thots.. just finished a kava mix :-)
