I signed up today at my local Auburn TGG store and thought I'd share to the community since I've benefitted from other posts.
Looks like in store only until this Sunday. Took photo of poster in store.

ET cost is $594
Isn’t it 6*$99= $594 to cancel?
So its changed…..? On JBHifi deals it used to be $390 as I lat remember.
they have changed the game since being OzBargainedly Ripped so many times in past deals I guess lol
It was only ever $390 to cancel when the total 12 month plan was $780 ($65/month). It's always been half the remaining cost to cancel
@Benjamin7711: Got it.
no Google Play though? I meant, officially
Yeah it doesn't but the app gallery seems to be OK and I've side loaded some apps with no problem
nothing much happening on XDA.

Indians are boycotting/cant afford a p40 pro
US was first to boycot. It continue to set trend. Can't afford or can't Trust ? Everyone kind of knows it now
Not the cheapest if you take into account grey imports.
Why would you compare Grey imports to Official AU stock. Not a sensible way to compare.
Agree, also at least I can take it back to the store if any issues with my phone.
not if you side load the apps though. At least for laptops
@[Deactivated]: My bad, what i should have said was AUS STOCK. $1114 vs $1588 LOL. Morons~

@Labourking: I mean if you side load google apps, that voids warranty right
@[Deactivated]: Actually i was actually talking to @usmanhafeez2000 @techgeek69 for being daft and morons and not you, sorry.
Loading side apps doesn't void warranty technically speaking and if you were worried, you could just make a backup file and reset the phone back to factory setting.
@Labourking: for the google apps you mean just like download it or require rooting ( ;) )
@Labourking: The $1588 also includes 150GB of data per month with unlimited standard talk/text for 12 months on Telstra network. So it isn't a like for like comparison.
A lot of these phone deals are tailored for individuals with heavy uses
may be from next time people should start the Title with Plan info before phone cost, So my Heart doesn't start pounding by reading the first half of the title :p
It's a pretty good deal even with a minor panick attack. 😊
Is it me or have Telstra raised their prices.
I'm on a 12 month $55 60GB plan which came with a $400 gift card
Now its a 12 months $69 60GB plan with a $400 gift card
An increase of 25% for the same GB - WTH
What you got currently is actually a $65/M plan with $10/M credit applied to it, which isn't available anymore. Plus JBHifi $65/M plan now costs $69/M with $4 Fee added to it.
The benefit is now it includes 5g without extra cost. It used to be a $15 add. Unofficially it’s a $4 add to get 5g if you compare to previous pricing.
Ohk. So the $69 plan includes 5G. Didn't know that.

thanks all :)
5G Tax
Hi guys,
I have never signed up for mobile plans, always SIM only.
Can I buy Huawei from this deal, and get a new number with Telstra (I really wanna keep my number with optus now because I'm getting a good deal). After activation through Telstra, and cancel the Telstra plan immediately. So that's $399+$99+$594=$1092 to get the phone, is it true?
If it does work that way I will go get it on the weekend.
Waiting for answers.
Cheers :)
Don't know whether telstra will leave a bad mark on your credit history.
What is the extra $99 for? Telstra pro-rates monthly fee and ETC so if you cancel on Day 1 then you only pay for 1 day fee (approx $3.3) and ETC would be approx $592.35. And since they don't pro-rate the data, you can use up all the monthly plan data in 1 day :)
Thanks guys, gonna get it!! :D
I am a little surprise new Huawei products are still being sold officially, thought Australia hates China now.
They're great phones, just a shame about the ban
I guess u were confused. It’s CHINA hates us
Thanks. Just grabbed last phone at Robina Good Guys
Good to subscribe and then cancel immediately. Total $399+$390 ETC. But still no brainer to buy it as it doesn't have GMS officially, and unofficial methods are pain for updates..
