I thought SONIQ is one of those Chinese LCD TVs that you buy from JB Hi-Fi? Since when are they starting to sell branded glasses? Result of watching too much TVs?
They don't. This is pure spam. They are advertising on behalf of these advertisers and I believe they get a cut for everyone that visits those sites via them.
And this is supposed to be advertised only to their Soniq members who signed on to their website which I highly discourage as after that you get spammed like crazy

I registered on your Soniq website to get support for my Soniq TV and all I got was spam emails flowing through ever since I joined up. And even getting "YOU HAVE WON THE BRITISH LOTTERY" emails! Most possibly because our private emails are publicly displayed in your support forums!

no really, i usual ask what's their lowest price for scrip sunglasses and i get quote over $300 so effective it'll cost $139 where you get the same thing online for $25 delivered cant claim on insurance but hey your not paying for these scammers profit!

How can you know that though when the company (Concord Eye Care) don't even list their prices on the net? It's not a bargain if their prices are inflated to cover the offer.

I manage Concord Eye Care and thought I'd address some of the points raised -
-we are a legimitate real store, not an online overseas store, so dont list prices on the net (show me an independent physical optical store that does) - there are 100's of different types of lenses for example and prices vary depending on the script, so any price list will not be comprehensive and potentially misleading for high scripts or certain sized and curved frames - BEFORE people buy any deal, they should call the business and get a quote for their EXACT needs, why wouldnt you for something custom-fitted for you?
- we have over 800 frames in stock, that we sell regularly (we cant list all frames either on our website!)
- we havent inflated any prices, the discount comes off recommended retail prices as set by our suppliers (why would we sit and reprice all our frames?)
- we have offered this deal and sold many vouchers, our customers have been extremely happy with the deal, it's just another form of advertising for us and it's the way successful advertising is heading (in its various forms, including shared advertising) - our profit margins are very low but we have been happy with the online exposure and new customers
SO you shouldnt voice an opinion unless you have the facts, we are the real deal, have been in business for over 20 years, have a big following and we care
Until the total regular price for frame and lenses is known, this can not be determined as a bargain. The total price of a brand name frame with lenses can be ridiculously inflated as crazy as AU$700!
