I purchased one of these myself last week when JB had 20% off all HP. It's a rather nice little machine with good balance between size, portability, and most importantly USABILITY (quite a step up for me, having moved from a UMPC with a 7 inch screen).
Performance wise amazingly good considering it's only 1.3ghz. Web browsing with multiple tabs and various apps open in the background produces little to no slow down (unlike many netbooks I have seen and used). HD YouTube videos and 720p media files play okay.
While it would not be advised that anyone consider this for full-time gaming usage, it is quite capable of occasional gameplay. I myself quite enjoy flight simulation, and have found FS2004 to run beautifully on Very High Settings. Team Fortress 2 runs okay on low/medium settings although gets choppy on big servers with lots of players - turn graphics down as required.
It has been reported that a variety of other games are playable on this hardware also. Again, it's not exactly built for gaming, so do your research or wait for something more powerful if that's what you're after :)
Enjoy.
Yipes. Another HP deal.
It sounds pretty good for a low end gaming machine.
