are there other repellent devices that work?
those Insect Repellents like aeroguard dont work either
Have you tried the insect repellent Bushman Heavy Duty?
Aeroguard doesn't work for me either, but Bushman Heavy Duty does.
Actual deet contain preparations work very well (not great on certain fabrics too). Their performance is measured in the number of hours they prevent 99 percent of insect bites. Permethrin works too, but doesn't last nearly as long. Citronella and the like have only a very small effect, same with citronella candles.
@Ezuku: Deet also great for getting cancer.
@harryzee: Are you thinking ddt? Deet isn't a known carcinogen and is classified as class "d" meaning there's insufficient evidence to say it definitely doesn't or doesn't cause cancer. On the other hand, it does cause bad skin rashes if you're sensitive and actually eating it probably is bad for you. Eucalyptus oil is also pretty dangerous to eat as well mind you.
Correction to be first post, should have mentioned picaridin rather than permethrin.
Hey,buddy! Based on the feedback and testing that we have done it has shown to have some effect with small insects.
Thanks.
Has Choice Magazine ever reviewed telectronic pest repellent gadgets that they sell in BIG W, Bunnings, Woolworths, etc?
If they don't work as intended, I would like Choice to expose them as scam. Can’t comment on this one, but some of the “snake repellent” ones seem to attract snakes in my both my personal experience and as suggested by this -

Thanks.Hey Buddy. What testing have you done?
Aim: test for some effect.
Apparatus: Timexing.
Method: plug Timexing in at 1730 when leaving the office. Check office next morning.
Results: saw no obvious small insects in the morning. Rodent droppings and cockroach carcases remain.
Conclusion: has some effect on small insects
$16 is expensive for something that does nothing.
Was price $23.68.
Probably did more at that price …
wish they worked walking down the street, keep all the beggars and tub thumpers away
would be great for social distancingI think it wouldn't discriminate but keep all humans away. Hmm, when i think about it, they should make one for that.
But I am vegetarian.
@fantombloo: Nah, I am a vegetarian. Cows eat grass, I eat cows.
Well below the EU standards
Glad to know!
Obviously the pests I have aren't smart.
Those fake reviews are funny. These things don't work
