Far out, that is a sweet deal.

    • Agreed ;)

  • +1

Can I somehow get the same price in NSW :)

  • +2

That looks good, can you do this in WA or do you have a WA partner who can do this?

Edit: Out of curiosity, how much does the price change for tile roofs?

    • I'd like to know the tiled cost too

    • +1

Tile roof has an additional $150 cost (inc GST).

This cost is purely due to the type of racking we have to purchase for Tiled roofs.

We recently started our NSW branch, hopefully WA is around the corner :)

  • +4

Wish we had these rebates/offers in WA. Guess there is no incentive to switch to Solar when we have one energy provider with fixed rates set by the WA govt.

    • +1

      Hopefully soon!

  • +1

I think with the Vic state government rebates - this deal is very attractive.

    • +1

Definitely agree with you on this! :)

  • +1

How do we put a deposit down for this, contact your email?

    • PM sent :)

  • Is the rebate better now compare to last year?

OP, do you think it is good idea to install battery too?

    • +1

      Hi mate,

Rebate is actually lower compared to last year.

To be honest with you, the question on whether a battery is suitable is determined case by case. That being said, I would personally hold off a few years until the technology 'Matures' and the price drops further (which they will).

Happy to look into your bills and provide an analysis if required :)

      Cheers

Loved these guys. They hooked me up with a Fronius and QCell system. All the way from the quoting process to the installation, I was taken care of! They're in the process of installing a Fronius and Longi system at my old mans place. Well done OP

    • +2

Hey do you mind sharing more on the how much it costed you especially with fronius and QCell system?

Good to know someone has a positive review for a solar Retailer for once.

      • +1

Not a problem mate, it costed me just over 3.2k upfront. There's also the loan with the state government I have to pay back. These were for the G5+, the ones with 25 year warranty. Stoked with them. I really wanted to hook up the Enphase system to avoid the string inverter. Was just out of my price range though (didnt want to take the risk with Covid around). The guys that came around to do the install were fantastic. Answered all the questions I threw at them. Really friendly too. Good to see they're working on their website as they initially missed my quote request (only thing I can ping them on haha)!

    • Glad to hear this feedback! Thanks mate :)

    • Can I know your quote? I m interested in the same setup :)

      • Feel free to PM us for the same setup ;)

  • +1

I am envious. Live in SA had same panels and inverter fitted by another company. Cost an amount more than this. However I am happy with the output of the combination.

    • Victoria does have some great rebates to take advantage of! Great to hear you are happy with this combo, the output will be even brighter once Summer rolls around :)

  • Hi May I know how much it will cost me in Vic. Interested in the product. Thank you

    • Unable to send a PM as you may have it disabled. You can send an email through to [email protected]

  • May I know how much it is going to cost to install 6.6kW Jinko 370W Solar Panels + 5kW Fronius Inverter in a single storey house with tiled roof in Vic? Thanks!

    • Pricing will be similar to the deal quoted last month: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/541764

However, for a more accurate quote and savings analysis, please email through a copy of a recent electricity bill and a picture of your switchboard

      Cheers :)

  • Super cheap. I got the same panels and a fronius installed in January for $3900 in Sydney so this is a bargain

    • That’s a great deal too, this is 3850 for a approx $1000 cheaper inverter, just the Vic government rebate and loan helps us Vics make these look great.

    • Hey mate, do you mind recommending the company who did yours in Sydney please?

      • I used Solarmatic. A couple of hiccups afterwards but they were fixed. Also after the install a friend said they should had put a separate switch (which they didn’t) and better positioning (maybe negotiate the location you want the inverter). The money rebate was from 2019 though as I booked it then.

      • Our NSW & QLD Promotion can be found here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/554720

  • So if I am not mid- read the total out of pocket cost is $2000 as $1850+$150?

    • Exactly :)

Please let us know if you would like a full quote and analysis :)

  • Great deal, personally ignoring installers as I’m not sure about either this might be better https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/552675
Slightly cheaper, panels are basically the same but Risen have been in the game longer and are a larger manufacturer.

These are such great deals though, given the 4 year loan by the government they are free solar systems, the gains from the sonar far exceed the cost of the loan.

Only 2 years ago I had to pay for the more premium Q-Cell panels just to get 12 year warranty and now all these budget Chinese panels are offering 15 years which is great. Same with inverter the expensive European Fronius is 10 years warranty too but so are the budget Chinese inverters.

    • What sort of sonar did you get?

      • I got 6.6kW system with Q-cell panels and 5kW Fronius inverter in Oct 2018, the system has currently paid back $2544 not including the one off $500 credit the Commonwealth bank gave for having a solar system. I'd be in front if I had this system at this price.

  • Can you quote for double storey, tiled roof?

    • PM Sent :)

      Cheers

      • can i get the quote too please for double storey tiled roof! thanks =D

        • Unable to send a PM. You can either call us on 1300 516 250, or send through an email to [email protected]

      • Adelaide?

  • Hey Op. Will you handle the STC Rebate, Solar Rebate and Interest Free Loan? I'm interested and can move fast but not sure if I qualify.

    • Yes mate,

We take care of it all! Including pre and Post install connection forms with your energy retailer.

Please email us at [email protected] for a formal quote :)

  • Patiently waiting for QLD deal

  • I am interested in too. I sent email last night. Thanks

    • +1

The team is working on replying to quote requests at the moment!

      Will be in touch shortly!

      • Hi, can you follow up my email, which sent on Thursday and reminded today? Thanks

  • Wow that's quite a good deal.

I've literally just signed up with another installer, but out of interest (and maybe I don't want to know) - what would you charge for 20x 330w Jinkos and a 5kw Fronius?

    • Works out to be slightly cheaper than our Jinko 370W and 5kW Fronius ad here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/541764

Hope you got something for a similar price :)

      • +1

I'm paying $800 more. Not the end of the world as the installer is local and I've been impressed with them so far, but bugger!

  • I have an existing 2.5kW system that is over 6yo now. 10 x Renesola panels + Fronius Galvo 3.0. By my calculations it should have been paid off by now if not by this year.

Is there an option to upgrade the panels only?

    • thanks for the call, all sorted!

      • Happy to help you out :)

  • Hi OP,
Looking for solar in Vic. Interested in this deal but not exactly sure how it works with Vic govt or where to put the panels. We have a split level tile roof and a 2 car garage with a flat tin roof. Can you quote on both options?

    • PM sent :)

  • +2

Had 7.7kw of panels installed by Pristine Solar a few weeks ago - can recommend. Good installers and easy sales process.

    • Thank you for your feedback :) Glad to hear that!

  • Any recommendations for country Victoria ?

  • I am intrested in this, but I see Jinko and Fronius are popular go to in my friend circle, so compared to that how does this Panel and Inverter combo fare in performance and durability?

    • Hi Ashok,
Fronius and Jinko is a great system. The system on promotion currently is a great cost-effective system. However, we can definitely provide you with a deal for the Fronius System ;)

  • Any love for QLD? And would a system like this be able to be added alongside my 3Kw existing system? ie, have two inverters on the one property

    • Watch the forums on Monday ;)

      • Did I miss it, its Tuesday and can't see find a bargain listed for QLD?

  • Hi OP. Could I please get a quote for a tiled roof, single storey?

    • PM sent :)

  • +2

If anyone looking for a review.
I got solar installed by them 3 weeks ago (NSW) and the service was lovely. Initially my quote request got to their spam box for some reason but once I called them up, they got back to me the next day with a quote and once I was happy with everything and pay the deposit, it got installed after like 3 days. Installation look great and they cleaned up everything after it was done. Answered every questions I had and never 'push' for the sale unlike some other one I requested quote from.
So far the system has been great. I've been getting 25-30kw a day except the rainy ones.

    • Thank you for sharing your experience Wayne :) Thrilled that we could help you switch to Solar!

  • Anyone got their quote?

I had a prompt reply to initial email then sent info requested within a few hours of deal being listed but nothing received yet.

    • +2

Send OP a PM. I've got a quote and got the opportunity to speak with him over the phone, sounds like he knows what he's doing, has honest recommendations and technical know-how, however he is also up to his eyes in work/quotes so he has been (understandably) late in replies with me (and a friend of mine also).

      • +1

I just sent a follow up email and received the quote shortly after.

  • Hey OP - I sent you an email and a private message on Friday, and another one last night, but no reply?

    • Hey mate,

Being a QLD request, we're just waiting to finalise our QLD/NSW offer so that we can send through the quote. Our QLD Rep will be in touch shortly :)

  • So has anyone got any comments on the 6.6kW Seraphim 330W Solar Panels + 5kW Growatt Inverter set-up?

I've been quoted $3600 for a pretty similar system - I'm in SA so can't take up this deal, but would be interested in any reviews for this equipment.

Been quoted 20 panels, which would be on an East-facing flat (colour-bond tin) roof. We're single phase and our average electricity annual bills are $2600.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi OP, Could I please get a quote for single storey? tiled roof

    • Hi,

The quickest way to get a detailed proposal with a suggested roof layout and savings report is to send us an email with a copy of an electricity bill and a photo of your switchboard (with all the switches) to our email: [email protected]
