Could this run Windows Defender?
Lol why would u need defender when you don't have enough power to run viruses :P
Win10 takes 20 - 24GB
I have a couple of cheapo laptops that have 32 GB and 64 GB. I haven't been able to complete recent Windows updates because there isn't enough space, even opting to use external storage during the process. I might get it to work if I uninstall a lot of software, but I don't really want to do that.
Anyone know which Celeron it is?
A crap one
better buy a second hand lenovo thinkpad x series
Intel Celeron N3350
Best to stay away from this thing.
This is some form of child abuse giving this to a school age child.
Just buy a secondhand laptop instead, this is not worth buying.
Exactly.
Even scumtree can net you a far better performing lappy than this soniq rubbish.
Eg
$280

Lenovo Thinkpad T440 laptop with charger and original box in excellent condition. Everything works perfectly. Pickup in Delorme St Durack…
Windows 10 Pro
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019
14" Hd Anti-Glare Display
Intel 4th Gen i5
8Gb Ddr3 Ram
500Gb Hd
Intel Hd GraphicsFor those reading I'd also try swing for the t440s if you can because it has the 16gb ssd cache drive which you can upgrade to a larger ssd in order to make the laptop really sing.
Can it run Crysis?
Yes & even you can run 2 high end games at the same time though
I bought these around 99 dollars probably 3 years ago? This is just too expensive
Sell-er-on .. :-( .. !!
Howly dooley. This should not exist.
I'm passing this one up.
Does anyone know if it be ok if you were purely running virtual desktop and nothing else on the 'notebook' at all?
That being said, sorry OP $299 not much a deal here.
Put it towards a better laptop instead
