Certainly is awesome stuff. Adds amazing shine, slickness and protection. Its only a $10 product in the US, yet again we get ripped off here. Also there is a new formula out now, doubt it is available here though. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Turtle-Wax-50997-Ice-Seal-N-Shine… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49DtbUBHMpg

    • Its good. Reduces friction/air resistance so u save 1000s in fuel

      • Safari is also faster

        • but i have windows

    • Yeah, I checked with Selleys & the new formula with UV resistance (perfect for headlight yellowing) arrives in August, estimated

  • Take note they just introduced an "improved formula" for 2020 in overseas market. I'm waiting for that one to come here as I still have 1 bottle left and you can't really use much of this awesome stuff.

    • Ahh thanks man. Just saw Pan The Organizer’s YouTube video
Do you remember how long it took to arrive here, once it was released in North America?

    • Any info on this new formula?

      • Same formula with supposedly better chemical resistance and now with UV protection. The old one is great so I can only assume the new one will be amazing.

  • Regularlt at this price at Amazon if your supercheapauto is out of stock

  • I'm using the Turtle Wax HS Ceramic Wet Wax, it's pretty good. I've used the Meguiars ceramic wax too and I think the Turtle Wax came out a little better.

Lol better than mothers and meguiars. Really now.

    • -3

Yeah I had to wonder if he's working for Turtle Wax………….

      • +1

Meguiars does make good products, but not always the best of everything. The game always change and sometimes, other brand can come out better. Just give it a try before make judgemental comments.

That video doesn't even compare this particular Turtle Wax product !!

        • But it does clearly address the "lol"/disbelief about a Turtle Wax product being better than a comparable Mothers or Meguiars offering…

        • It is the same product

          • @Boogerman: I see you're now "associated" Boogerman. Working for Turtle?

Serious question though, that video clearly shows the new version of the product winning. How are these the same product? The "ICE" seems to be a brand new formula, no?

            • @keegs: I’m not associated - it’s this stupid website where you have to get it removed by a mod, just because a box is accidentally checked
It’s the same product, it just has the ICE label in North America

              • @Boogerman: Your association with Supercheap Auto has been removed.

              • @Boogerman: Okay. I researched a bit and yep sure enough it is the exact same product number from Turtle Wax (50984).

                I'm sold, will get some.

                Cheers

                • @keegs: I’ve used it and it’s mediocre at best. You need the green one from turtle wax. Ice is not this one at all. The us sells both so how can they both be the same thing. Check the SDS.

Ahh, sucked in by marketing labels.
Cognitive dissonance is a helluva drug!

C'mon, downvotes for questioning a pretty bold statement: "This is the best spray on ceramic coating on the market - better than Meguiars, Mothers, etc"

      Really?

  • This is the best spray on ceramic coating

I don't see any mention of ceramic in the description. Have you mistaken this for the 'HS' series or am I missing something?

    • +1

It uses Si02 so that's the "ceramic".

      • I've never seen it advertised as having SiO2. Can't see it on the website either. Are you sure??

The new Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray specifically says it has SiO2.

        • If I remember correctly it does mention on the bottle.

  • +1

anyone tried the newer ceramic wax? I've been using seal n shine and quite happy but bottle is low

    • 800 reviews on Amazon give that one 4.5 (900 give the older one 4.5).

    • -1

yes both, the Hybrid last a little longer but not worth the extra $ imho. They repel water basically the same.

    • do not buy from supercheap, even on special it is still 32. if you have amazon prime, and spend over 49 which is easy just buy couple of car products, it's 23.84 shipped from US. all the hybird solution rang products are cheaper buying from amazon us via amazon au

      • Just tried for fun, outlines they wont ship to my Australia addresses I have registered..

        • And we have to start supporting local for a few extra dollars!

        • Amazon will deliver it to me in Australia.

          • @skysurfer: For those products? Others for me are fine..

      • Nah, do buy from Supercheap. Bezos and Amazon have enough cash.

    • Yes I have used both. The new Hybrid Solutions Ceramic is easier to apply (not as tacky on the cloth). To the naked eye the levels of gloss is similar, and the 'slick feeling' left on the paint is comparable too. In terms of protection, I haven't done any testing, nor will I haha!

  • Isnt tacky to me at all… Done three cars with it….

  • I use Meguiars quick wax. Is this product better? I still almost full bottle left.

    • use it up, you got the ultimate quick wax I presume

  • I've never founds these spray on waxes to be all that effective. i'm not sure whether these are the sames as the ceramic nano coat stuff that panel shops charges hundreds for; but these sprays while might "bead" water, does't prevent dust and dirt from settling which is what ultimately will trap the water and grime. I find a buffing machine and old school wax works about the same if not better as you actually apply a liberal coat of wax over the car and you can "feel" it after the wax.

    • +1

Nothing beats a good machine puffing detailing job. But if you only have 5 minutes spare and twenty something bucks. This stuff is great for it. Sure it only last couple weeks before you need to re-apply. But hey, it only takes another 5 minutes.

  • Should try out P&S bead maker. Way better..

  • Can this be applied on a recently waxed car?
