Saw this earlier but then realised that this aerial doesn't have a spring and is therefore not really suitable for much other than petrol cars and soft roaders that never leave the road.
Shame they didn't include the antenna that has the spring, as I would have bought it!
I have this combo on a 4WD that's done Cape York, including the OTR, central Australia, and all sorts of rough roads in between.
5 years and no signs of major wear.
You likely won't see signs of, it will just snap.
You might get lucky and be ok, but this is straight from Oricom's website:

Personally in this instance I'd trust the manufacturer to know best.

The kit I bought had something like the ANU200, which has the tiny spring at the base. When I checked the deal on a phone screen, it looked the same as mine.

HOw do you install this? any youtube links? Got one 10 years ago and still not installed.
If you can't install a car stereo yourself, then this unit is most likely best installed with an car sound/4WD service person too.

The antenna from this combo deal is 6.5dBi and the one you post is 2.5dBi. I assume the one in the combo deal is better? Plus you would enjoy much discount with the combo deal.
Definitely a better antenna in the deal, just conscious that the interior windscreen antenna is far more convenient to install and maintain.
