support that allows you to build up a burn regardless of the weather.

With a wide base, 5 adjustable rubber feet, and swoopingly low stance, this stationary bike converter offers unshakable stability: The kind that
won’t have you wobbling across the floor as soon as you spin into action.

The stationary bike stand’s noise reduction resistance wheel works to reduce the hum generated by your spinning rear wheel, so you won’t
have to pound out the jams and whirr the house down just to get some tunes going while you ride –much to the relief of your
girlfriend, dog, and disgruntled neighbors. Also, the smoother resistance wheel can prolong the lifespan of your bicycle.

Training for the trail? The bicycle stand comes with 6 remote controlled resistance settings to help you simulate even the toughest
inclines right from you handlebar. And the bike stand can be easily folded down to just 22” x 18” x 6” for easy transport when
training away from home.

The Sportneer Indoor Bike Trainer fits any road or mountain bike with a 26-28" or 700c wheel. Including:
Liv's Lust Advanced 1, Marin Attack Trail 9, GT Verb Expert, Jamis Defcon 2, and Felt Decree 3. Please note that although
the Indoor Bike Stand does feature noise reduction technology, the use of mountain bike tires may affect noise output.

  • Damn! I just ordered this yesterday. It's ready to ship so I can't cancel it. Looks like I'll be doing a free Prime change of mind return.

    • +2

Once it set as shipped, you can call up or live check to ask the parcel to be returned back to Amazon

      • Thanks for the suggestion. I thought I had to wait for it to arrive, then request the return,

This was easier (and cheaper) than arranging a return. Less than 15 minutes after auspost sent me the tracking notification, the request was raised for the return.

        • But this will cost Amazon more money .

And you need to wait for it to be redelivered and money back after few days

          • @SnoozeAndLose: I can live with the 1 day difference on delivery. I'm sure Jeff won't mind me returning <1% of my orders.

  • i noticed the comment that it didn't fit someones bike, so i measured up mine. The listing shows a photo that states 6.5" is the max size of rear axle it will support. i just have a standard road bike and it's 8.5" with the derailleur. Am i measuring wrong or will it really not fit?

    • +1

I don't think you measure to the outer edge of the derailleur, just the fork-to-fork distance.

I found this which just seems to muddy things even further lol

      https://www.modernbike.com/how-to-measure-bicycle-thru-axles

      • i took the punt will see how it fits when it arrives.
I watched some videos and it shows you replace the quick release axle from your bike with the one provided. I think that's the sizing they're referring to, so based purely on the fork distance it looks like it should fit.

Wow, I want to SIN IN SILENCE!

    • Funny how some of the comments say this trainer is really loud

  • +2

I've been holding out to buy a smart trainer for ages, was planning to spend around $1.2k but screw it I just ordered this instead! Interesting that it says it fits all bikes but the first review says it didn't fit their bike and they unhelpfully didn't elaborate further. Will see how it goes.

    • +1

Same boat as you. Fairly sure Amazon is pretty lax with returns though, will just be tedious.

      • +1

Got it and set it up today. Am pretty disappointed. It fits the bike and all, but the bolt of the resistance wheel keeps getting loose when I ride it at resistance levels 5 or 6. This stops the resistance wheel from spinning, as the bolt is loose. Will return for sure!

        • pretty disappointing news for you….sure its not an easy fix or is it definitely an inherent production flaw with the trainer? either way it should be perfect straight out of the box….was thinking about grabbing this at full price now not so sure

          • +1

@franco cozzo: I’ve attempted tightening the bolt several times, but it just keeps loosening. You might get one that’s better made? I’m still waiting for a response from the maker to see if it’s permanently fixable. Will update upon response.

            • @SimpleUsername: …good luck hopefully its fixable otherwise theres similar products on amazon around the same $s

            • @SimpleUsername: How did you go with the bolt? Did you push the bolt holder all the way down away from the tyre?

              • @bargainshooter: Hey, so it’s turned out alright! It wasn’t anything to do with that bolt holder, it was to do with the resistance wheel. I tightened the bolt behind the plastic covering and it’s gone really well!

                Would recommended it 👍

    • Have a look at the product images

Only fit for bike with 26-28” or 700c wheel, and with rear wheel axel between 4.92’-6.57”

      From description
The Sportneer Indoor Bike Trainer fits any road or mountain bike with a 26-28" or 700c wheel.

  • Does this work with mountain bikes?

    • The Sportneer Indoor Bike Trainer fits any road or mountain bike with a 26-28" or 700c wheel. Including:

      • how about hybrid tyres?

        • …depends on the tyre…you want something fairly smooth like a road or commuter tyre
trainer tyres (designed for trainer use only) are also an option & readily available

i just re-use my old road bike tyres that arent fit for riding on out & about and get some more life out of them that way

  • ….dont forget youll need a riser block, trainer skewer, a mat ….and preferably a strong fan.

    • Good point. I didn't think about all that

      • …also trainer tyre if applicable.

    • It comes with:

      -1 x Bicycle Trainer Stand
      -1 x Resistance Remote
      -1 x Front Wheel Block
      -1 x Skewer

      Is a mat really necessary

      • thats good it comes with skewer and block…
a mat is not a bad idea….for perspiration mainly but also you can get a bit of rubber residue coming off at the roller from the tyre. i just use an old runner
really cant stress the importance of a good fan…cant go 5 minutes without getting covered in sweat

        • +1

A cheap Kmart yoga mat is fine. Kmart fan should do the trick as well… :)

This will go fantastic with the Cell Ultimo eBike I got on Ozbargain

Connect the dynamo of the trainer up to the battery on the bike and you have a perpetual motion machine, right?

  • What is the resistance mechanism? Is it magnetic or some kind of geared friction?

    • Magnetic it seems from the description

      • The product name actually states it's magnetic - just not included in OP's entry :)

  • hey op…still umming & ahhing. how much long is the deal valid until?

  • Mine just arrived, that was really quick shipping!

I'm gonna set it up and I'll report back.

    • please do. especially interested in noise when going at decent rpm/speed, stability of unit and the controller function. enjoy your setup! :)

      • +1

Just got it setup on my Bossi Pilot commuter.

Setup was straightforward, I had to remove some spacers in the bit that connects to the handlebars to get it to go around my thick bar tape. Other than no tricks.

Still trying to dial in the perfect amount of pressure on the back roller but I like what I’m feeling so far.

I’m trying it on wooden floorboards upstairs atm so it’s almost a worst case scenario, most of the time it’s acceptably noisy but there are a certain gearings that cause serious vibrations in my floor, must be some sympathetic resonance crap I reckon.

I intend to use it in my garage with a concrete floor so I don’t think it’ll be an issue. I also think my wheel might not be 100% straight since I swapped the quick-release axel which might be adding to the noise.

Will try my Giant TCR and my missus Specialized Dolce at some point and will keep updating with my findings.

        • What kind of tyres? Are they smooth?

        • jesus… the cable for the controller is crazy long!
…..nice looking setup. that bossi looks sweet

        • I'm finding the same resonance problems but strangely mainly on the highest gears. So speed must be an issue. Tightening the resistance wheel bolt seems to help a little.
