    Overfrozen and ruined?

I guess if you train dolphins, you would have a certain sensitivity to these sorts of issues. 😋

Not sure why you are being negged. You're exercising your right as a consumer to vote with your wallet.

I miss the simpler times when an ice cream company just made ice cream.

      • Exactly my point, I just don't understand companies getting into politics. It will always piss off a portion of their consumers.

  • Still got a couple of tubs in my freezer from when they were $1.99 last week

Not in a real hurry to try them tbh

  • The 458ml was $1.99 last week, is it just me or has the price gone up $1 this week?

It was like that with the pint slices. 50c one week (went like hot cakes) then $1 the next…then back to 50c when they didn't sell. I suspect these will be $1.99 next week.

Ben & Jerry's is a terrible company, they dump all their unsalable ice cream in Australia. Hence why it always ends up in shops like Spudshed or NQR.
They are also involved in deceptive marketing.

They must have A LOT of this Ben and Jerrys to move, they've had the Cinnamon Bun flavour in stock for well over 2 months. I'll sure they'll be reduced again in the next promo. When they first started clearing this stuff out years ago it'd be gone in a matter of days at $3.

The low-cal varieties are nice enough compared to the non-dairy (which is way too sweet, odd flavour) , but may be past best by (some that I purchased recently had a May 2020 BB - Others were Nov 2020).

  • Freezer section had McCain's pulled pork frozen meals for 0.99 cents, and Malaysian beef curry for $1.99. in australind. Pretty sure past best before.

    • Pretty sure past best before.

What does this mean - have you actually checked the dates?

      • The pulled pork one definitely was as I remember thinking wow that is over 3 months past due?

      • No I didn't buy, just walked past.
