Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions placed on travel, we understand that our Members have had less opportunity to use the extended benefits available within their Total Care and Extra Care products.

To support you during this challenging time, we’ve decided to give back a portion of your Total Care and Extra Care product payment to reimburse you for these extended benefits.

How much is RACV giving back?

The partial refund applies to Members who held an active Total Care or Extra Care product as at 1 April 2020 and will be paid as follows:

$12 per active Extra Care product.
$30 per active Total Care product.

      It's a bargain because you can donate to charity for free and it only costs you time..

      Sarcasm aside, racv should mandate a refund instead of (pocketing the money)insinuating that the funds can be made to their own charitable foundation. Considering how many racv branches have closed permanently saving them overheads and employment costs.

    Guys, I am sorry for those that this doesn't affect. But as an RACV member, I never knew about it. I only found out via a mate who got a letter. And on checking, several of my mates didn't know about it either. So I thought there might be others out there in the same boat.
    I realize it's not much, in my case $30, but it's better in our pockets than there's imho.

      I think that's fair enough.

      For those that didn't get notified maybe they should check their contact and notification details on the RACV site so they don't miss out on anything in the future.

    Unless someone has already said this, there is no record on the cheapest version of RACV cover "Roadside Care". There is only a partial refund on the higher two tiers
