this is almost $300 off retail! It is a 4 thunderbolt 3 2020 model which is amazing and it includes 10th gen intel processors

Slow night
Membership required means no OW price beat ?
OW might be able to price beat, after all it is on Costco’s website
OW does not price beat with Costco
Wow as almost 3K.. Apple's really milking this cash-cow.
That’s Apple for ya
there are laptops available if you can't afford a macbook.
lol yeah.. thanks sherlock.
It’s an ‘ok’ deal. 10% off in Macs not particularly uncommon. Looks to be closer to $200 off the $2999 retail too, unless I’m looking at the wrong model, so the next JB or HN sale will likely be cheaper. Good price if you need it now but.
Not for me, however for those who might be interested: what’s the RAM capacity? Can’t find it on the website
i5 2GHz 16/512GB
This one I think https://www.apple.com/au/shop/buy-mac/macbook-pro/13-inch-sp…
sweet, i buy a new one every year and just hand down my old one to my little kids.
Hey it's me your kids.
roflmao, well played. lol
And the alternative for me would be an XPS at just under 3k
10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7 Processor (8MB Cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
Windows 10 Home (64 bit) English
Intel® Iris Plus Graphics with shared graphics memory
16GB 3733MHz LPDDR4x Memory Onboard
512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive
13.4" UHD+ (3840 x 2400) InfinityEdge Touch Anti-Reflecitve 500-Nit Display
CNC Machined Aluminum in Platinum SilverI guess the choice is what OS you are used to.
Just be mindful that Apple will start phasing our Intel, and moving to ARM based architecture.
Not an immediate problem of course, but more something to consider longer term.
I just gave Costco a call to check the amount of RAM for this machine and they told me it has 8gb of RAM, not the 16gb which is standard with Apple's base listing for the 10th gen i5 2GHz MBP 13". I've asked them for further explanation on why this model differs from Apple's with the RAM spec or if it may be a mistake on their website - they said they will check and email me back.
UPDATE: just got email back from Costco - this notebook has 16GB of RAM, same as Apple website specs.
Its $2849 at Rosman so should be able to use that for an OW Price Beat getting you closer to 2700 and 10% off

mate, it is not cheaper than this deal, OW can price beat this one, Costco is a apple reseller as well
OW won’t price beat Costco as it requires a membership.
This deal is nothing special. As a few others have said it’s fairly common to see 10% off MacBooks. And $204 is not nearly $300!
does anyone know if this is available on pickup?
No it isn't, online only
Just gave them a call - it is available in the store.
Oh great, it is a good deal, u should OW price match
@jayboi: Costco Marsden Park is only 10 minutes drive from my place so I grabbed one today. There were 2 left after I bought mine, but I was told they are expecting 5-10 laptops within next few days.
@vmnomad: Congratulations, hope you enjoy your purchase!!!! It is a really good laptop, good deal.
@jayboi: thanks mate. Yeah. I have had MB Pro 15 for 5 years. But now that I have a separate gaming computer and don't need a GPU in MacBook I went with 13 model and it feels much better than Pro 15.
@vmnomad: Cheaper at JB Hifi
@digitalane: yeah, jb deal came in like 6 hours after I got the laptop from Costco
$2.7K @ JB w/ 10% off

haha.. 6 hours after I bought it at Costco
Really pushing the price for a quad core with no GPU to be honest
