      Just down load the iLuv apps - 3 apps to choose from. You could download the app before you purchase to see what it can do.

      I don't believe ipads are compatible. Even if it works it will cover the speakers which defeats the purpose

      I would say no to iPad/iPad2 compatibility. Doubt it would be stable enough to support the weight/size either of a tablet.

    interesting, according to amazon (http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-iMM289-Stereo-Speaker-iPhone/dp/B…), this unit is not iluv app compatible. so does that mean the downloaded alarm app won't be able to get displayed when you plugged in? any clarification from Rep or fellows? thanks

      We're checking with the iLuv rep now. We've removed the app reference from our description until confirmation.

      If anyone has issues with iLuv app compatibility please contact our customer support. For the price we hope people can forgive this oversight.

    I just got this and it destroys the battery. I used it on my iPhone 4 to rechanrge and it lasted 1/4 of what it did the previous charge cycle when both were on 100%
