The Mel Brooks Collection Blu-ray for $54 includes nine of his movies. Even less if you have a 28 degrees mastercard.

Works out to be $6 a blu-ray which is a good deal considering most of these are only availalbe in the US.

Movies included: Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, History Of The World Part I, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Silent Movie, Spaceballs, To Be Or Not To Be, The Twelve Chairs, and Young Frankenstein.

No comparison from UK or OZ. Appears only Blazing Saddles has been released in the UK and Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein in Oz.

Only big one missing is The Producers.

Webiste belows shows it is region free and lowest price.

  • Great price, picked it up at the start of the year for around $65.

    Definitely worth it.

  • This is mildly annoying. I have the DVD Mel Brooks Collection. Which is:

    • The Twelve Chairs
    • Young Frankenstein
    • Silent Movie
    • High Anxiety
    • Life Stinks
    • To Be Or Not To Be
    • History of the World Pt1

Which means I'd only be buying Blazing Saddles, Robin Hood: Men In Tights & Spaceballs. 'cause let's face it, Mel Brooks flicks aren't about the visual acuity. And I own Blazing Saddles on DVD separately.

Good deal for someone who doesn't own any of them. Shit for me :(

    • If you want Blu-ray, pay again. Otherwise suck it up - like I've had to…… ;)

      • Like I said, no benefit from Blu Ray in a Mel Brooks movie. No point buying a high def vesion of History of the World Part 1.

  • +1

Only 8 movies if you have a 28 degrees card?

  • I simply refuse to start a Blu-ray collection, I've told everyone who knows me that.

so if it comes up, I'm going to tell people it was some kind of shipping error :P
