Free USD$10 Credit for Zinio (Magazine Service for iOS, Android etc)

114

Can be used as credit (in part or in full) for ANY Zinio purchases.

To use the gift code it will generate:

  1. Log into Zinio on a desktop (refer http://imgs.zinio.com/faq/servicecredit.htm)
  2. Go to ACCOUNT SETTINGS
  3. Go to VIEW GIFT CARDS
  4. Enter Gift Card Code (copy & paste is best)
  5. Spend that massive $10.00 ;-)

Note #1: Not sure if this is a technically freebie or not as you have to sign into Klout (via Twitter or Facebook) to receive your $10.00 credit. (Mods - please move if necessary!)

Note #2: Zinio/Klout states that it is a "limited offer" but give no indication how many each referral link code will work.

Note #3: The offer URL was provided to me by Klout.com (social media reputation masturbation company) to share. While I do NOT get a single cent/magazine/pony/unicorn out of sharing it, I recognise that some people don't like such links. I was given this free because I'm a "Klout influencer" (cough splutter LOL!). I was under no obligation to receive the sample or talk about this company. I get no additional benefits for talking about the product or company.

Mod: Fixed alt. domain

    • Weird. Working from here (desktop and mobile). Is your computer on? ;-) jokes

    • You negged the deal because you can't follow instructions? That's kind of disappointing.

      Anyway… back to OzBargaining.

  • works. got the code. but then no email confirmation, nothing shows up on my zinio… should i take note of the code on a piece of paper?

Login to your Zinio account. Then, go to Account Settings >> View Gift Cards and enter the coupon code. $10 credit will be added right away - giving that your code is a valid one ;-)

I did that and it works for me.

Have a look here http://imgs.zinio.com/faq/servicecredit.htm too.

  • So I should create a new facebook a/c to try it, right? I don't want them to use my existing one.

    • From their website:

      What is Klout?

Klout measures influence online. When you create content or engage, you impact others. Klout analyzes that impact to find your Klout Score, influential topics, and your influencers. Klout is the standard for influence. Top brands such as Disney, Audi, and Turner use Klout Perks to reach and engage influencers. Over 3,000 applications and partners use Klout data to display Klout Scores, prioritize based on Score or topics, and segment users.

How does Klout use my data?

Klout collects data from your networks in order to discover your influence. We do not share any of your private data or email address with 3rd parties. We do not access your Twitter DMs, private Facebook messages, private Flickr content or any other private communication.

      Is it worth USD $10.00?

FYI, I got my code and it works in my zinio account.
      EDIT: added company info.

    i get this "We're Sorry
You're ineligible for this Perk but check back soon, you just might have one waiting!" is it becuase i used xp os do i need to use win 7 for it to work?

    • yeah i got that… I assumed i got that cos i used my freebie farmer (see comment below).

      • i just got a thought (note: assumption) maybe it ran out??

  • -1

damn, using a fake (i called it a fb freebie farmer) a/c wont work…… you need to have enough 'influence' and enough 'social media' to get this 'perk'…

$10 credit for private information and access to social media to a project in beta.

    I think not…

it was a waste of time. maybe my fake book accounts doesnt have enough friends since i keep on getting this "We're Sorry
You're ineligible for this Perk but check back soon, you just might have one waiting!"

    • full on agree… (read above comment)

  • No Go

  • Nothing for me here. And I consider myself relatively active on Social Media, but I still only have a score of 18 (Dabbler). Obviously that doesn't make the cut.

Can people who've been rejected post their Klout scores so we can get a sense for what the cutoff level is?

EDIT: nevermind, I found it. It's Klout scores above 35
