Was looking at the Oral-B electric toothbrush range today too. It seems they're all regularly ~50% off. But there were better deals at the end of last year: Oral-B Genius 9000 $149 via Shaver Shop eBay and, even better imo, the Genius 8000 for $99.
What is the difference between 8000 and 9000?
I have the 9000 and from memory it is to do with the charging case and/or number of brushing modes. Not much difference I think.
For the 9000 you get the tongue cleaning mode and a premium travel case. 8000 there's no tongue cleaning mode and you have travel case.
If you are interested in tracking your cleaning without the inconvenience of using your phone camera, get the AI model.
