How does it compare with the vitality precision that only cost $20?
Does it just add the case and the app?Seems like the app is a hit and miss due to connectivity problems.
The $20 vitality is an old-school Ni-cad battery with a limited lifespan, most of the $80+ Oral Bs will have a Li-Ion and have some extra features like pressure sensitivity, may add extra vibration, and 30-sec interval timers
Battery could probably be changed to Ni-MH.
I still have to see my toothbrush go red, I guess I don't press too hard.
Those extra features… I have them and still use just the normal mode.
30-sec interval timers. Got a watch, mobile phone, wall clock perhaps? No need for timer. It's said you need to spend 10 secs on each side. I always end up doing it for at least half a minute more. Timer is just for reference to me.
And last but not the least, the speed of it, as mine is Ni-MH, as soon as 1 brushing is done it slows down since it was new. So much for their trumpeting. Just misleading. Besides, faster ≠ better.And the last, last, how many $20 ones can I buy for $150? If I buy 5 of them, they will outlive that one, plus don't have to worry about losing it and saved 50 bucks.
