1TB Usenet blocks from newsgroupdirect for $7usd. They can be stacked. I’ve been very happy with their speeds and retention. Have had very few incompletes and I’m able to max out my 250mbps connection.

Always good to have a block as a backup, but make sure that block is on a different backbone, have a look here for the different backbones and where each provider sits https://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/wiki/providers
yes they are both on the same backbone so there's not much point going both so i was basically asking if i am better off getting a block or two of this, find a new main provider and ditch Fast Usenet?
actually i have been using this graphic to help me understand it all but it seems to be conflicting with some of the info in the link you sent me.

Not the cheapest seen on OzB
Yeh that was a really good deal. But that was for Black Friday. If anyone is in need of a block, this is still an excellent deal from a good provider.
What is this?
The first rule of Usenet is, you don't talk about Usenet.
Just went to grab this. Back to $70 now
Bugger, updated to expired.
I just signed up with NewsGroupDirect: 3TB block for USD12 (AU$18.25 according to PayPal).
I followed the deals link from another OzBargain post (here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/536490) -> https://newsgroupdirect.com/usenet-deals
3 TB Blocks for $12 from Usxxxxxxxme.com
They match competitors' deals, and this is perfect for me.
new to usenet, is this worth cancelling my Fast Usenet for? so basically use a block or two of these and then change my main provider to something else?
