  • Quick update, as someone already emailed. Yes the GE Alarm clock/Thermometer displays both Celsius and Fahrenheit
and you can add up to 3 sensors for comparing temperature at up to 3 different locations. I've add extra sensors at $9.95 for 1x or $18.95 for 2x (live now for those interested)

I wish you had done this with AAA's, I don't need any more AA's :(
    Awesome deal though!

    • +1

Do eneloops even come in AAA? I've never come across them and would buy so many xD

Edit: nvm see them on the page :) I'll order some AAA's too! Wooo!!

    • You can buy the deal and add AAA's at a discount $14 4x, otherwise what about our price on AAA's as it's great anyways $17.95 4x http://junglejumble.com.au/sanyo-eneloop-4x-aaa-nimh-recharg…

      • Yes, definitely an awesome price.
I'll think about it over the weekend, just not sure if I need them right now.

  • +3

will sell much quickly if you put only Charger & 8x AA Batteries for around $26.

    • I'm sure it would sell muchly!….Totally unrealistic considering the cost of items and postage unfortunately. This is a gimme so make of it what you will. WE will try, where possible, to come up with unique deals but your asking way to much.

I know Australian shops have a higher overhead, that's why I am buying them overseas.

  • +1

Can you include 8xAAA Batteries instead of 8xAA

  • +1

I'm with the others, looking for AAA not AAs….

  • +1

Unfortunately the chargers come standard with AA so not much I can do. What about a 4x AA + 4x AAA?

    • 4xAA + 4xAAA would work. Also anyone know how good this charger is compared to http://www.amazon.com/Crosse-Technology-BC-700-Battery-Charg… ?

    • +2

      How about 4 x AA + 8 x AAA and no thermometer?

      • That would be even better :)

      • +1

I'm actually keen on the thermometer :) not something I would buy normally, but if it's being thrown in with other stuff I want, I'll use it for sure!

As for the 4xAAA and 4xAA, I think that might work for my needs. I can't quite remember what my front bike light takes though….I know the back is AAA, and my remote controls for my tv etc are AAA….which is why 8xAAA is better. But since the charger comes with the AA anyway, I see why they can't really leave out the AAs.

    • How to get 4xAA+ 4xAAA?

    • I'd buy the deal with 4xAA & 4xAAA…

    • I'd buy it with the 4 of each

  • +2

Bring us some 8x Eneloop for $20 like DSE did.

  • +1

Agree, i'm in if you can do a deal without the thermometer

  • Opened a can of worms haven't I! What about the ongoing offers we have already? Check the Eneloop range here http://junglejumble.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=Eneloop

  • A word of warning. The thermometer isn't that great. We had them for free at my work and for many the wireless sensor didn't work. I was lucky and it did work for me for a while but the batteries ran out very quickly + occasionally connection to wireless sensor got lost. The clock and built-in thermometer work fine though.

    • Could it be due to environmental issues? rf frequency disruption, over 30m max distance from receiver as an example

      • I can't see how it could be an environmental issues. The transmitter was about 10m away from receiver without any obstructions in between (in direct eyesight). I also put new batteries in it (something like duracell max). They lasted for couple of weeks only and during this time connection was lost several times so that I had to re-sync manually.

        • Unusual indeed. If you bought from us please send us an email in regards the situation as they are covered by a 1 yr Australian warranty

      • Oh, I had the same issues too :S

I'll have to dig mine out and test it again

  • Hey, I have a question…

whats the difference between the 1500 and 1000 cycle charger?
    http://junglejumble.com.au/sanyo-eneloop-1000-cycle-battery-…

    and
    http://junglejumble.com.au/sanyo-eneloop-charger-including-4…

    ?

    • It's just poor naming of products. They aren't refering to the charger regarding the 1000 and 1500. They are refering to the number of times you can charge the batteries included (i.e. the cycles they can go through).

The chargers should be the same, according to the guy at Dicksmiths when I bought mine with 4 AA batteries. The batteries are absolutely great, but the charger, I have to say, is quite a load of rubbish. You have to charge batteries in pairs (you are unable to charge 1 or 3 batteries), and I believe when one of the batteries is fully charged, the other may not be able to be charged properly.

I believe this is due to the charger requiring 2 batteries to complete one charging circuit. (This can be seen by only 2 LED lights, each to represent whether the left or right pair of batteries have successfully completed the circuit to allow the charging process.)

TLDR; Batteries great. Charger is rubbish. 1000 and 1500 does not refer to teh chargers, but refers to life of the batteries included (how many times it can be charged before dying. Therefore 1500 is better than 1000) Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks, but I guess for $20 with 4 batteries it's best for that price?
eg compared to the varta at bunnings with 4aa batteries.

All the included chargers are pretty basic right? But atleast I get 4 eneloops with it.

        • Last time I went to Dicksmith, they still stocked the older 1000 batteries that came with the charger, selling for normal price $20. So it's a pretty standard price, apart from the free shipping.

If you already have a charger or don't need a charger, you can get a 4 pack of the 1500 batteries without a charger for $18.99 at Dicksmith, or a 2 pack of the 1000 batteries without a charger for $7.99.

          2 Pack of 1000
          http://dicksmith.com.au/product/S4411/eneloop-2-x-aa-ready-t…

Not sure about stock in store, so you'll have to check.

        • THanks Kirynflare,

I guess then if a 2 pack is 7.99 thats like $16 for 4 without a charger, so its like paying $4 for a charger which seems like a pretty good deal right?

  • is it normal to have the buzzing noises. you get one buzzing noise when you plug the power cord to the wall socket without any batteries. You get another pulsing noise when you are charging the batteries?

  • I know these are LSD batteries, but what is the manufacture date on them?

  • +2

Really, junglejumble does pretty good deals on eneloops. Go easy on them ;)

  • +1

    good bargain, thanks mate

  • What is a decent charger recommended to go with the eneloops! So many batteries but no charger to boot.

    • Assuming that was a question, the Eneloop charger that comes with the Eneloop batteries would probably be your best bet…
The charger is in the photo

  • Thanks. Just grabbed the Charger with 4X AAs, and added another 4X AAAs (which is all I really wanted). Recently got something that takes 3 AAAs and it drains them fast.

  • nice deal - good price

  • i am also looking for some more AAA batts, as i have plenty of AA eneloops

the new eneloop xx batts have a lot higher capacity 2500mah
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/S4469/eneloop-xx-lsd-1-2v-25… 4xAAA for $25

however 8xAAA for $30 is the best price
