    Well I mean if you take $30 credit at face value its $9 for a "smartphone" (of some description) delivered to you.
    A good burner phone for SIMs and services requiring a different IMEI.
    I mean for $9 you get a charger + USB cable + earphones too lol. And a box.

    Hope you've got a 32GB SD card though (largest supported) because it's only got 1.1GB of storage available to use.

      512 MB of RAM could be an issue. My tablet runs Android 6.0 and sometimes struggles with 2GB of RAM. I guess you can use it as an FM radio.

        This might be worth getting "$30 off your first order with uber eats"/referring yourself etc.
        Or downloading the COVIDsafe app.
        Basically anything you'd want a separate IMEI or phone for.
        Not for daily use.

    It should work. Covidsafe requires Android version 6 and this phone comes with that version pre installed.

  The $30 starter kit is quite often on sale for $15 and sometimes for $10. So the question is whether this phone is worth $24-$29?

    This included SIM you have to activate before 27/9/20 to get $30 credits. BIG W sells Optus $30 Pre-Paid Starter Kit for $10 now, the expire date will be next year.
