Delivery offered for $5.95 to Perth (I did free store pickup) and it all processed without an issue.

OP has control over posting 'clearance' shit from OW which usually has no stock.

My problem with these deals. Is sometimes they have as much as a single item in stock. It's OW's way of getting traffic to the site if you ask me…they hope you'll just go buy something else.

Seems to be all gone…I tried again after placing my order and it still worked, so someone got lucky.
In regards to negging Officeworks clearance deals, it doesn't really seem to be in the spirit of the site.
Officeworks clearance deals are usually well below any price you can find elsewhere.
It is easily ascertained whether the product is in stock (ie. easier than spending two hours on airasia or the frustration of getting a COTD deal) and there is no need to waste $1.50 a litre petrol to find out they have run out of stock.
Me for one am happy to keep seeing the Officeworks clearance deals, trying my luck for the two minutes it takes to see if there is stock, and occasionally pick up a bargain.

If you want to enter every postcode in Australia to confirm this is the case (see Giggidy below for another locale with stock) then go for it…otherwise, let the bargain hunters try their luck and check their area for stock.
Surely it can't hurt leaving the deal up for anyone interested to check their area, or do you have to pay 1c everytime the OW site gets a hit?

I don't need these but tried anyway and seems there is stock at my local (Vic Park, WA). So anyone who wants them locally it seemed to go through to checkout for me. (Man, I so sound anti-Broden)

I would like to express support to the OP as well, seems at least a few people managed to get their hands on some bargains so totally worth it.
This has been listed out of stock on the officejerks website for months…maybe quite a few weeks, but seems like months, how the hell your order processed I will never know!
Just phoned a couple of OfficeWorks stores around my house. All of them said that same thing which was no one has any stock and that the warehouse is out of stock as well.

OW can check stock nation wide. Perhaps any OP who posts up clearance items should get a nation wide stock check (ask an OW employee) then depending on the value of the deal should decide if the deal should be posted.
If there is a single 5 cent pen in the WHOLE of Australia, don't post it. If there is 50, post it, maybe with a rough "stock report" too.
ffs stop posting clearance crap from officeworks. all clearance items are generally store specific and are low in stock eg 1 or 2
