  Please note the Samsung 32GB Evo is not U3 - has very slow write speeds. If you're looking for 32GB with higher write speeds, look elsewhere - important if your device has max 32GB capacity.

    inspired by your comment, i checked and on samsung site it doesn't claim to be U3, but U1. on the ebay listing when you select the 32GB model it changes to image to the card and it clearly says U1. did you make this assumption before?

    i recently had to test my 512gb evo+ and benchmark on the sd card reader (osx black magic speed test) gave 80mb/s write. the gopro hero 8 max bitrate is 100mb/s so i was wondering why it was failing me, but i think it was a power or cable issue because i ran it with the battery only today and it was working OK because it was working for a while and then recently started giving me trouble.

      The OP said it was 100MBps. Wanted to clarify that it wasn't 100MBps write. It's worth calling out as every other card in the Samsung Evo Plus series is U3 with minimum 60MBps write.

      I bought a SanDisk 32GB U3 card. Yes, when I tested a Toshiba U3 MicroSD card in my Surface Pro 3 MicroSD slot 4-5 years ago I achieved ~88 MBPS write speed.
